I would really love us to get a little mojo going into the playoffs but also nothing would make me more happy than ruining the hopes and dreams of Buttmans 2nd favorite team !

I'm just going to come out and say that I think they're going to lose because the Hawks will be fighting hard to keep their playoffs spot, but I am hoping like heck that we embarrass the crap out of them and give them an extended spring break. If we don't win these two, I'm not going to stress as long as they show more focus in the playoffs, so it's not a big deal at all in the long run, but I do enjoy the smell of burning bird on a Friday evening, nonetheless.

Trying to find a ticket or two to this game, but damn this one of the most expensive games of the year!!

Debating on a single for $50 behind Crawford row 19 upper. Best deal by far out there.

Try to get a seat by the visitor bench, maybe you can bet on the game with Turco and regain the money you spend on the ticket :hehe:

The other option: Chicago sweeps the weekend series, climbs into 6th, and bounces the Wings in the 1st round.

ELIMINATE THEM

This is kind of what I was worried about.. not that the Hawks are a better team than the Wings but they could have a lot of momentum built up if the Wings let them roll over them these last two games and then end up meeting in the first round.

In any case, I would like to see the Wings come out and get a couple more solid games under their belt just as a confidence boost for the playoffs, but like most people have stated this far, I wont be too surprised or stressed out if the Wings come out soft, especially since that seems to be the way they have played meaningless games this year.

I think this game will test Detroit's mettle. A hungry, determined Chicago team vs a Detroit team that has struggled at home, is playing without Zetterberg, and has pretty much been Chicago's ***** all season. I don't care if Detroit doesn't necessarily "have anything to play for", this a potential first-round opponent... kick their ass! And besides, not playing hard is exactly how you can get yourself hurt in games like these - Chicago's players aren't going to take a shift off, you can be sure about that! You've got to play this game like it game like it were game 1 of the season, not 81. I've already said that I thought Chicago could beat Detroit in a seven game series, well, here's their chance to make me reevaluate that stance. If they can go out and take both these games against a team that is not only fighting for their playoffs lives but has owned them all season, I'd be a lot more optimistic about their chances against them(or Nashville)in the playoffs... and if they do win both games, they might keep Chicago out of the playoffs altogether.

If you don't want a player to get hurt, sit 'em out. But if they are going to play, I expect them to play hard.

Guest Howard He Do It?!

Anyone going to this one?

I was thinking about it until I saw that it was going to cost me about $100 to sit 20 rows up in the upper bowl.

So all Chicago needs is one point to secure a playoff spot?

No they'll need at least 2 to "secure" one, but could still make it as it is depending on what Dallas does and how the ROW tiebreaker plays out.

Honestly they might as well just sit Homer tonight, if he is even anywhere near the ice you can expect to get some goals called back.
