Rhah 195 Report post Posted April 28, 2013 Great to see him lead the team tonight on Lidstroms birthday honoring the captain by leading the team like the man deserving to get the C next. Especially after he has been getting some heat from the fanbase...

kickazz 5,459 Report post Posted April 28, 2013 (edited) He was very much like Steve Yzerman and shows up big time for crucial games (these last few and the st. Louis game with his hatrick). I'm glad they went with him for the C he will have a great 7 years to come and hopefully have his jersey up on those rafters one day. Good job Mr. Hank you're hard work earned you that C on your jersey. Edited April 28, 2013 by kickazz
GMRwings1983 8,803 Report post Posted April 28, 2013 Glad he stepped it up when he needed too. We need more goals from him, especially since Holland didn't bring in any real scorers. Datsyuk has to carry us as well.

stevie for president 42 Report post Posted May 11, 2013 Zetterberg put the team on his back again tonight. When they need to win a game, the captain is by far the best player on the ice for either team. He reminds me very much of 1995-2002 Steve Yzerman in that regard. Mike J. 132 Report post Posted May 11, 2013 It's games like this that further enforce the reason why Z is my favorite player since he came in the league. Favorite all time will always be Stevie but Z is just so clutch it's ridiculous, they needed him to perform tonight and he came through with flying colors 1 sjr2012 reacted to this
RedLightGoesOn 81 Report post Posted May 11, 2013 OH. MY. ZETTERBERG....... Not only was he super clutch, he almost got one in the expiring seconds of the 3rd (off the post). I was hoping he would have a big game and wow, did he not will his team to win. Such a beast. Such a boss. THE CAPTAIN ZETTERBERG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1 sjr2012 reacted to this
dat's sick 1,002 Report post Posted May 11, 2013 Before game: is it possible Z could go without a goal in these playoffs? After game: ...how could you even think that was a possibility??? When Z and Pav are playing like this, we are difficult to stop despite our...lesser..players causing us trouble.
RedLightGoesOn 81 Report post Posted May 11, 2013 Also, such heart we played with. Especially Z. Great to see that kind of tradition didn't die out with Yzerman and Lidstrom. 1 evilmrt reacted to this
