A Calder Cup win for Jurco and Pulkkinen in their first seasons in GR has got to be nice.

Congrats to the Griffs. Pretty sweet for the "young guns."

What was our prospect pool rated going into this year? Middle of the pack? Guess that's bound to change a little. Good job Griffins. Couldn't watch the game but followed this thread on my phone.

Dan Cleary is an Xbox 360.  While good for a while, it's time for the new generation to take over.

I wonder what centcougar thinks about the Wings prospects now....
It's pronounced "Zim" not "Exim". Aw heck with it, just call me Scott.

I'm listening in now, but was out to dinner and was following all the action here. Big thanks to everyone posting along. It's been a really exciting run here and it's been awesome to share it with LGWers.

Hell of a two months for DeKeyser. Joins his hometown NHL team straight out of college, plays in his first NHL playoff games two weeks later, and then wins the Calder Cup six weeks after that.

Hey, the AHL commish doesn't get booed when he steps out onto the ice.

He looks as sad giving it to the Griffs as Bettman did giving it to the Wings instead of the Pens in 08.

Good for them.  I don't follow the team like others here, but I'm glad we have some winning prospects who will use this experience at the NHL level.

I hope Tatar is finally "overripe" and can play for the big team.

According to my profile, my reputation is excellent. LOL.

Great game. Fantastic for all the Wings prospects to go through this. We'll be better off in the future because of it.
