Niedermayer swung his stick at Worrell's head and picked a fight with Datsyuk. Then there was that fake retirement crap where he and Salami only played half the season to avoid the cap. Also, he was a diver and a whiner. Guy was a piece of s***. Alf was unquestionably an elite forward and a ppg player 4 seasons ago and long before. Still capable of providing some value even at age 40. Most notably, shows up in the playoffs. And at 40, his 26 points this past season would have tied him w/ Brunner for the 4th highest scoring forward on the team with a fairly sizable drop to the next in line which was Flip with 17.
