I read somewhere that someone asked some hockey players (yes that's vague lol but I can't remember the context) what it was like to get hit by Kronner and the response was it's like running into a fire hydrant.

I ran into a fire hydrant on my bike once when I was a kid. It sucked.

That's what happened to you!?! Lol I joke

2 goal lead going into the third... Let's all say a quick prayer here

I honestly don't find Tampa to be all that good, every time we play them, they really don't impress me. Aside from Stamkos, I don't really see a very good team

Do you all really thing there's some league-wide referee conspiracy against us?

I swear, some of you are one step away from wearing foil on your heads.

At this point give me the foil. Watching the refs turn a blind eye on stuff like that every game, it's seemingly a conspiracy

Steven Stamkos? Who's that?

#2503497 Is this the worst "fight" of all time?

That was selfish. He didn't bring enough beer for everyone? It was also a very lame attempt at being funny...

Great game from the kids once again, and of course the star of the show... Helm.

Howard was ok he was very close to absolutely screwing the game up but was ok overall. The point is he has to be better, Toronto is just awful right now.

Franzen was the worst Wings player in this game, lazy as phuk once again, slow as a sloth and almost cost us a few goals against. If Abdelkader is back against Tampa this bum should be taken out of the lineup.

Lol when it's monster, it's he found a way to win, it wasn't pretty but he did it. When it's Howard it's he almost absolutely screwed us over...

You gotta look at it market value wise.

If this was like previous trade deadlines it night have seemed to better. But the fact that guys like Vanek a winger and Moulson a winger went for late round draft picks really makes this center trade look bad necessary.

fixed.

#2502655 Avery vs. Brodeur

Supermodel was drunk, and obviously has no self worth. Nanny wasn't. either way brodeur shouldn't have said squat, but my disdain for Avery makes me side with Marty.

Except that it wasn't Holland at all.  Babs, Dats, and Z, wanted him back.  Holland's got a lot to be ashamed of (Tootoo, Sammy) but this one ain't on him.  Here's the quote...

"Nyquist could have made the Wings to start the season. But Holland signed 40-year-old free agent Daniel Alfredsson, and then he re-signed 34-year-old Dan Cleary in training camp. Cleary was a surprise, because he had bad knees and better offers elsewhere. But coach Mike Babcock wanted him back. The team leaders wanted him back from Howard to Zetterberg to Datsyuk. And he came back on a one-year deal worth $1.75 million, when he turned down the Wings offer of three years at $2.25 million per on July 5 and the Flyers, Florida Panthers and Winnipeg Jets were offering three years at $2.75 million per."

And here's the link...

True. Holland did offer him 3 years at $2.25/year originally though, so that's on him, don't understand why Cleary would turn that offer down though

st. Louis has a lot to play for. The last 20 years as a matter of fact. All the playoff eliminations, all the regular season dominance. How much St. Louis love to be the team that knocks us out of a playoff birth? They owe it to their city to break our streak. I hope it doesn't come to that, but it is incentive for them to play us hard.

If that is the make it or break it game, we either play the best game we've ever played, or st. Louis beats us

Makes ya sick that we let him go.

Let's actually let him show us what he can do in more than 4 games before we cry bloody murder.

He also had an absolutely horrible giveaway that lead directly to Colorado's second goal.

It's not all rainbows and puppies.

shhh... not too loud, reason and logic are null and void in some parts around here
