Good on MAC for saying the "fight" at the end of the Buffalo Boston game wasn't even a fight and no one should be suspended, then pointing out a better example of an instigated fight at the end of a game by showing Malkin going after Z last year. You started watching hockey in '06? Oh well that makes perfect sense. You defend that team more than any Pens fan on LGW and you put the Caps down whenever the opportunity arises. Yet, we can't ignore because everyone could use a fair share of laughs everyday.

The point in having it is so in this case Boston doesn't send out Scott Thornton to start slashing everyone trying to get the other team to fight to send a message.

I've covered this with Malkin. It's not to stop fights that happen out of the spirit of the game. It's to stop sending out enforcers at the end of the game to send messages. Stop crying about the NHL on this issue, they are very clear on it.
