Bad news, that's not possible. HP Pavilion is occupied by The Eagles that night and the next. Game 1 will be Thursday or Sunday. Good news, it could still be the wings visiting. I'm pulling for you guys. If my team is going to chase away playoff demons, best to dethrone the top dogs doing it, and that would be the wings for sure. Octopi throwing is as old a tradition as anything I can think of. It's what we do. If you did a little research, moron Coyotes fan, you'd realize the symbolism behind the octopus. I've been watching the Wings for over 20 years now, and honestly I hate when they lose. I get anxious during the playoffs. And pissed when a bad call goes against them. But if watching them made me as miserable as it seems to make you, I honestly would never watch hockey again. Ever. The main point of my post was that you gotta go with Howard at this point. Ozzy's way too cold to step in for a game seven. Howard is still the number one goalie and has a better chance of playing big. And given I have no friggin control over how he plays or what the outcome is, why not hope he plays big and the Wings win?

I'm not losing hope and never will. Lets go Red Wings!

I never said anything about soft. Just skilled.And I doubt they make that mistake because the game of hockey is moving right towards puck possession and skill, actually playing the game, not some anti-hockey. Red Wings are not anymore the only team with that kinda game style. Canucks and Sharks have also been trying to move towards that. The modern style of hockey is about skill and puck possession. It's not like the 80's or 90's anymore. Sure, it can change back in the future. Bolded part: You hope that don't ya? Why only Europeans? You think Kenny's a racist like you? I think this organization knows the value of skilled players and Red Wings have had the most skilled European players for many years now. If it ain't broken, don't fix it.
