Hey all, I usually don't post as the the jabber back and forth between members is entertaining. However a lot of people are doubting the wings so I thought maybe I should post what Lilja wrote on his blog, not sure how many of you know but Lilja maintains a playoff blog to keep in touch with fans. Lilja post: "Hi! Not a fun day, yesterday ... as soon as we were taking charge of the game, we got a penalty, and then after a while when we were taking charge again, we got another one in the sinbin! It felt like the referee (I really hate to blame anything on the referees ) found a little too many penalties on us, and kept a damn funny level on the game! We were ahead and had the game in our pocket, then he finds two penalties on us, and that turns the whole game around! We played 12:54 with either one or two men in the sinbin, which doesn't make it easy to win games! However, I really think in the longrun, that we are going to take care of business and win the second round in the playoffs, now we must win our two home games and then it's gonna be a real pleasure to travel to Sharkland and steal one of their home games! It's time to recharge, you have to be first to get four wins, so there's still a lot to play for! Have faith in us, and as usual, be safe and I will write soon again." REGARDS LILLS" If the guys haven't lost any hope then we for sure don't need to, as we all know we are the Red Wings and are one of the few teams that can do anything. Lilja is awesome. Until we lose 4 games I have faith. San Jose isn't a team known for finishing off playoff series when they are ahead.

For me it's like this. I say the Wings will win in 6 or 7 games. If they lose a third game, I'll say they'll win in 7. If they lose a fourth game, I'll wait for next season and say they'll win then. I believe they can win any game and any series until I have definitive proof otherwise. I'm a fan. This is what I do.

Cut it up into pieces, then stitch the pieces together into a voodoo doll and stuff it with cotton. Don't forget to bless the cotton with voodoo sweat contracted from playing hockey. At this point paint the doll blue to simulate the color of the Sharks jersey. Find a picture of Joe Pavelski with his playoff beard and tape it to the face of your doll. Now put it behind the tire of your car and run it over 4 times, one for each game of the series the Wings shall win. After this, stick pins into his arms and legs to slow down Pavelski's speed and shooting power/accuracy. Finally, place the doll next to your tv so as you watch the game additional punishment may be applied. glad to see there is still some optimism in the wings camp. a seven game series is a long one, and i've seen many go in the opposite direction from where this one is at now. all the wings have to do is win 3 at home and steal 1 of 2 left in san jose. given their record against the sharks, it's not to high of a hill to climb. but here's to hoping it doesn't happen. sharks in 6!

I agree with this. The Sharks aren't usually divers at all. But When Seto dove in game and the refs didn't call it, the Sharks will dive until they get called. THe refs hasn't called anything, so they will keep diving unitl they get called. The only diver we have is Nabokov, he is a pretty damn good diver, and he proved it last night.

You know, in all honesty you are one of the only fans of another team I can completely respect. You're completely rational and it's nice to see that. Are you suuuure you don't want to become a Wings fan instead? Haha But to reply to your post, yes I think that would be great for someone to make a montage of both teams and the noncalls and the terrible calls and the diving(which even Howard tried to dive and that has me all kinds of disappointed in him) so let's find someone with video making skills. ON TO GAME THREE!
