Don't worry about it. They wouldn't know if you crossed the line anyway. One might think you did, but the two who were further away might overrule him, and with the video judges on strike too, no one would know for sure. Even if they did come to a consensus or call Toronto, you could just tell them that you had an afternoon of yardwork planned, but went to the game instead since your gas can was empty, and since you intended to blow (leaf or snow, depending on the weather) the point is moot and you did not cross the line regardless of where you ended up.

The fact that the Wings would even consider waiving Eaves makes me worried. Eaves is young and he is a hard worker. If Maltby has outperformed Eaves I have no problem with this. None of us know what's going on in every practice. I want the players who work for a roster spot.

Hank scoring 40 or 50 goals would be great, but it's not important to me in the bigger picture. If he, along with everyone else that will be on the team, can be productive for 82 games and we can avoid getting decimated by injury after injury after injury, we're golden. That will be a more exciting accomplishment -- getting through a season nearly injury-free.
