European soccer teams think the Sharks dive way too much.

Look at how many ******* draws Pavelski has drawn this game. It's annoying. Just take his ******* head of with a stick blade and take the 5 minutes.

we've seen this before. Maybe they'll prove me wrong. But given that effort I don't see it right now. If that doesn't jive with your worldview - that's just too goddamn bad.

Well... At least we know Jimmy can steal a game for us. Keep your sticks down. Don't slash near the hands. Don't touch Pavelski. The rust is gone. Now it's time to steal the series by winning the next game. We couldn't go 16-0, we were bound to lose a game. Our penalty killing finally showed up. Put Draper in for Hudler.

I had a little soft spot for the Sharks, but good Lord, I just can't take any more. The players get away with egregious penalties and their fans have been taking notes from the Hawks crowd. SJ can kiss my lily white ass.

Thorton is whining like hes got a yeast infection

The San Jose Sharks are a disgrace in all my years watching hockey i have never seen a team dive so much they look like soccer players when they fall. Very few times do I get really pissed off about losing where I start throwing objects but thats how I am right now. This is an absolute outrage. For those of you who think its sour grapes watch the game and tell me how easy the shark players seem to go down when touched.

Tough to win when you have to kill 5 penalties in a row. SJ got that game handed to them on a silver platter. They better thank the NHL officials for that win. The only way we'll see fair and consistent officiating is if they use robots. If they're letting stuff go early, it should be the same through out the game. Overall I thought we played a great road game. All we have to do is win Game 2, which I think we can, and we're fine.

I don't want to see Abby play again in these playoffs. Draper or Madonna take his spot next game.

Refs hand Game 1 to Sharks. Figure the odds.

Babs needs to switch up the lines in OT. Franzen is getting no good looks; put him on a 1st line with Datsyuk and Cleary. Move Z down with Flipper and Helm. Now just roll those 2 lines. What? Time to man up! Oh, and put in Mursak for game 2.

Am I the only one that thinks the non main announcer is absolutely garbage? The main on isn't bad, but the deeper voice guy is horrendous.

He has had a good game since then. I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. He HAS been playing better and with more confidence.

Doan has many qualities that a fan would like. He plays with heart and passion. He may hammer people and take some cheap shots, but he tries to lead his team. Thornton is a loser and until he wins something he'll always be an overhyped piece of s***. Same goes with much of the SJ team. s***agucci is the leading diver. Last year I think he drew 3 5 on 3 penalties from diving. I hate ****** teams that dive. I hate it on the occasion a wing does it and I hate it when other teams do it. It just shows a disrespect to the game. Ill get off my high horse now.

1) I just woke up. 2) I haven't had anything to wake up my brain. 3) I have been living through the "migraine hangover" from yesterday's headache. Now that I have my excuses made, I just want to say that if he was talking about the Flight of the Octopus, I'd be totally on board with what he was saying. Unfortunately, I didn't quite catch what his topic was. But what the heck, let's just go with it. Everyone run over to Boston, throw an octopus in the sea, and we'll get the King of Montreal to surrender.
