Homer is done. He should retire. Homer should take himself out. Wait.....Notsofast!!

Maybe you should just drop the whole neg thing and let it go. You are the only person who cares about it, like its some kind of currency or something. This is a Wings message board. Maybe you should just talk about hockey instead of your strange obsession with the +/- buttons that serve no function. People might actually stop negging you too, just a thought.

Bad news, buddy.... You're actually asleep right now. Look, I know it FEELS real, but it always does in dreams. You're gonna wake up. You'll be pissed. Not only will this game not be real, you'll have to relive today's ENTIRE work day. I'm sorry dude.

Anybody else find it funny that Nyquist gets the FSD interview for his first career goal and all they want to do is ask him about playing with Datsyuk?

I was in second grade so my parents shoved me off to my grandma's house while they went to the game. I remember watching it and seeing fighting but it was kind of blurry. I remember watching the hit on Draper in the previous year and my mom explained the situation to my brother and me and made us say a prayer every night for like a week. And she made sure that we knew about dirty Claude Lemeiux. In our little minds we thought he was a monster or something. And I remember getting really excited it was like McCarty was superman. And then my mom got me a McCarty t-shirt that is so worn out and disgusting by now but I still wear it...and I always wear it on March 26th. It was down to my knees then but it fits me now. I used to try to wear it every day to school, but she kept saying no because it was so long and it looked like I had no pants on!!!

If ever there was a game for one of our guys to just LOSE it....take a game misconduct over the double standard rule pertaining to goalie interference (aka the Homer rule).....this is the game. I would pay to see someone just go ballistic.

At this point: 1st choice - 4th 2nd choice - 6th 3rd choice - 5th So in short, try your best to win every game but if you're sitting in 5th, just try your best to rest Lids, Dats, Z in the last few games *wink wink*

Crazy what happens in 15 years. No more pay per view hockey... no more hate for Colorado, no more fights like this, no more amazing stories. All we have now is some Crosby love.... Can I get a time machine please?

    Filppula is "too nice".

He has been playing out of his mind. To me, he has been the single most consistent player on this team all year. He's had slumps like anyone else, but there was little drop on the ice, just on the scoresheet. He is playing with a lot of swagger and seems to have a real feel for things in the offensive zone. Last night he was setting the table left, right, and center. He skates hard to back off the D before stopping, circling and creating time and space to make the play. Even when he wasn't lugging the puck and putting it on his linemates' tape, he was causing chaos, backchecking, forechecking, stripping pucks, intercepting outlet passes, or simple giving the puck a good chop to dangerous places. There was a sequence in the 3rd period when he kept the play alive in the offensive zone pretty much single-handedly, while creating numerous chances for linemates by simply chipping the puck away from the opponent to dirty areas. Keep up the good work, FIL! On pace for 67 points, but I know you'll hit 70 and break 25 goals!

I'd rather just see the Wings do what they can do. I said it in July when we did all of our signing of players that I just wasn't impressed with. I really don't see this team going very far and I don't see this team being a Stanley Cup Championship Team. I hope I'm wrong and I still have high hopes for this team but not high expectations. I'm at point where I'd rather see the Wings get some new blood in the line-up with bringing up players from GR and bringing in some big name players to help us out. This team has been one of te wort teams I've seen on the Power Play and while I know we can't have a #1 Power Play every year it would be nice to at least have a top 10 Power Play. You don't go far in the playoffs if you can't run your special teams well, so it really doesn't matter where we finish the regular season and who we play in the playoffs what happens happens and the Wings will have to be ALOT better in the playoffs to go deep.

Let's just play whoever we play. There is no use trying to wish for a spot. It doesn't matter. I would rather beat all the good teams to win the cup then take the "easy" road there. Our job right now is to win games and get some kind of rhythm going. Who we play is who we play, bring on all takers. Every year we get into these discussions of who we would rather play, but honestly it doesn't matter in the least. Look at '06... any team is capable of beating any other team. When the playoffs start, every series is 0-0.
