Is it just me, or is this season more interesting and exciting to watch then the years when we'd steamroll the West? With the way the League is set up and 8 teams making the playoffs, our season was usually done by December. This year regular season games mean more. I'm not being ungrateful, I've appreciated everything I've watched the last 21 years with this team, but I find myself watching more regular season games this year.

I just hope we makes the playoff and keep the streak alive

So is it too early to order my Damien Brunner jersey? lol The guy is a phenomenal addition to our team. Really hope Holland gets him signed to an extension.

The LGW Suicide Prevention Line will be back to being quiet at least for a few days. If someone can figure this team out let me know lol.

I would rather have the #17 or #18 pick all the time unless we have a first rounder coming from a trade. I was just being sarcastic with that comment, making fun of some of the doom and gloomers

As a med student you should understand that injuries aren't 100% preventable, especially playing a sport like hockey. Groin injuries linger for a long time, usually if it happens during a season you are going to be battling through it the rest of the way, it takes a unreliable time table to get rid of a groin injury could go away in a week, it could stay sore for months and require surgery. Some days are better than others, some days you can feel 100%, and other days you can't get up from a chair without holding your breath. Groin injuries aren't just battle though the pain injuries, they severely limit your mobility and reaction time, which as a goalie is absolutely paramount. To suggest that Gustavasson should just play through it is just completely naive and quite impractical.

You may be the only two then.... Wings belong in the East. Even throwing tradition of the O6 out the window, they are in the Eastern Time Zone and need to be in the East. Plus it will force Holland's hand to adapt this team to a larger type player style of team. Today the best teams are in the East and the Wings need to be with the best teams... I am all for it! Even if it means being in that division that would whoop us around for a bit, but like I said, it'll force Holland to change his team to compete in an Eastern Conference type of game...
