Robby - This is basically the coolest way of naming the name Robert, besides maybe Bobby. Fabbri is a confirmed cool guy. In general the name Robby Fabbri roles off the tongue like speaking french or something, but cooler. Filip - This is not even how you spell Philip, his parents are idiots. Trying shortening it to Fil... whoops sorry bucko the only Fil on this team is Val FILppula. Can't go by Z either cause that's Zberg. Kid is a nicknameless loser unless you count Zagina. Look at this kid. Eating spaghet of the cup like a stallion. $500 dollar shades, rolex, gold chain, sick tats, and a humbling custom family apron. This guy has style, swag, and the game to back it up. Girls want to f*** him, men want to be him. Zadina has the complexion of a breadstick from little caesars and the body of a 13 year old girl. LOL Touche I think we get a 2nd for taking the Backes deal. If you want a 1st, you have to sweeten the pot. And Ryan Kuffner doesn't sweeten jack shat. Conversely, I don't think AA or Fabbri get you much more than a 2nd in a trade. If you want to upgrade to a 1st? You'd have to take that Backes contract.

Im not pretending we’ll be making the playoffs next season but i do think we’ll be way more competitive with all the young kids coming and hopefully yzerman can get rid of some bad contracts. Think we might have to rely winning a lottery pick to move up 3-4 spots to get in the top 3 Id say we’re gonna already be at 3 years of goodies when we add these 2 last drafts + this one coming up+ a few guys like hronek,smith,rasmussen prior drafts earlier. We’re headed in the right direction thats for sure

It's possible that this whole discussion, although fun, could be wasted time and energy... Has the Draft Lottery date been announced yet? It was April 9th last year. So still another 10 weeks of uncertainty... I don't know that we will get the 1st overall pick, but I'm pretty confident, despite the slight odds, that we won't drop to 4th. If we manage to get a top 2 pick I'll be happy. And if that is the case, there will be little discussion on who we should take...

Honestly, fam, I wouldn't worry about it. My big takeaway from this latest round of rankings -- McKenzie's and others -- is that this top 10 is going to be loaded and that, just as with the past few drafts, the exact order these players get taken will be very much up in the air until the names are actually called. A number of Wings fans would be disappointed with our first pick in this super-important draft being a smallish right-shot defenseman @ 4th. And y'know what, that's totally fair. Personally tho? I feel January 2020 Jamie Drysdale > January 2019 Bowen Byram. Drysdale is a hell of a hockey player. Having Hronek, Seider, Drysdale, McIsaac could conceivably mean the most challenging phase of the D rebuild effort -- the "We need to draft two or three cornerstone defensemen" phase -- is more or less over.

This should get it done, also Backes gets a new lease on life... he's a lock in our top 9, more than likely our top 6... and who knows he might be a trade chip for us a year from now.
