A.K.A. since the salary cap. It's clear that has been our policy since the cap - go with homegrown draft picks and prospects for the majority of our players. In this time, I think every other team, at some point, has either traded a lot of their future in a big push to win (Pens, FLA, KIngs, etc) or traded away aging stars in order to tank and get picks (Flames, Buffalo, etc.) We haven't been in either of these extreme situations so it makes sense that we have tallied much less trades - that was what I was saying. Now, you can argue that we should go through the cycle of boom and bust, but that's another conversation, i think.

They would probably want to move, say, David Savard or Jack Johnson. At 23 years old, Boone Jenner is coming off a 49-point season (30 goals, 19 assists). He's going to be a very good 2C, possibly even a 1C. Zach Werenski projects as a top-pairing defenseman. Another thing to consider: the Jackets are -- or, at least, were (I haven't really read up on them in a while) -- facing a cap crunch. Nyquist's cap hit is reasonable, but if the Jackets are taking him on, then they're probably unloading some money.

I left off last night at a 297, so i'm getting close. I just got back into Destiny about a week ago and where I had left off I was a 28 so it's been an uphill battle trying to get my Titan back up to elite level. It's coming along, a lot of Crucible and some friends of mine have carried me through tougher strikes. I'm still in search of a nice trusty Hand Cannon which has been my go-to since the beginning, although i'm taking a bit more liking to Scout Rifles since it's what i've had to use here lately.
