Big E is a D-man. Supply and demand. There is a shortage of D-men that are FA's. Again, not a valid comparison. What a steal. If Vokoun gets 1.5, Turco or Conklin cant cost more then 800-900k. I'd say they need a goalie, but don't have room. Phoenix made the playoffs two years straight with Bryzgalov. I wouldn't be surprised them being out of the post-season now. And all he did was lead (or tie for the lead) in team playoff scoring for the next two seasons, and come through in the clutch in his third playoff season as a Wing. I will never let anyone believe that Robert Lang was anything but a positive force for the Red Wings during his time here. And only one of those trades got use a cup. Welcome to sports man. Ericsson - hasn't shown potential but a decent young d-man. D-Men in the league are getting their pay tbh. Gagne - good scorer maybe a sniper "maybe" but injury prone. Anyone think reuniting Morrison with Bertuzzi could spark something? He did have 43 points in 66 games last season...he would be on the cheap too...
