DyingAlive 27 Report post Posted November 20, 2011 Good to hear. I cannot stand him as a player, however, its good to see him back finally. We'll see if the Islanders decide to play him physical. 2 Aussie_Wing and Cloune reacted to this

Jasper84 333 Report post Posted November 20, 2011 Don't care for the guy, but I also wouldn't want to see anyone end their career like that. Good for him for being able to come back to this great game 1 Free_Candy reacted to this
Electrophile 3,554 Report post Posted November 20, 2011 I'm torn. On one hand, I don't want anyone's career ended because of a concussion. On the other, I think he's a smug, smarmy little ******. The agony. 4 edicius, asoras, LasVegasRocks and 1 other reacted to this

SDavis35 140 Report post Posted November 20, 2011 Hopefully he still plays as well as he did when he left. Don't like him, but I'm hoping this teaches him how valuable the game is, and if we pray real hard... he'll be humble in returning. 2 HOCKEY MATTERS and ComradeWasabi reacted to this
brennan17 64 Report post Posted November 20, 2011 Wow it's been a long time, as much as no one here likes him it's good to see nhls best player back in action. It will be interesting to see if he stays as dominant as he was before the injury. 3 Bar Down, ComradeWasabi and crotty99 reacted to this

GMRwings1983 8,794 Report post Posted November 20, 2011 (edited) He'll still win the Art Ross and Rocket Richard trophies this year. And they're easily the favorites to win the Cup if he and Malkin are healthy. Scott Stevens 44 Report post Posted November 20, 2011 Crosby doens't carry the CHARISMA Wayne Gretzky had. That's why he doesn't cross over as an athlete who's well liked by Sports Fans in general. Hell, most NHL Fans don't seem to like him, except for those in Pittsburgh. Therefore, I don't really care about his return. Hockey has been the same for me with or without Sidney Crosby. 4 LasVegasRocks, VM1138, redwings1914 and 1 other reacted to this
VM1138 1,921 Report post Posted November 20, 2011 Crosby is just an unlikable guy. At any rate, I guess this means the Thanksgiving Wings-Boston game will just be a Crosby fest even though Pittsburgh won't be playing. Being on NBC and all. Crosby doens't carry the CHARISMA Wayne Gretzky had. That's why he doesn't cross over as an athlete who's well liked by Sports Fans in general. Hell, most NHL Fans don't seem to like him, except for those in Pittsburgh. Therefore, I don't really care about his return. Hockey has been the same for me with or without Sidney Crosby. Amen. He doesn't dominate or represent the sport the way someone like LeBron (like it or not) represents the NBA. He is a world-class player, but he's playing during a time that there are several candidates just as good as him. The point is there was no debating Gretzky was the best of his time, yet people argue all the time that certain players are better than Crosby. He's just another superstar to most fans. 3 edicius, LasVegasRocks and Gordie Howe hat trick reacted to this
Barrie 900 Report post Posted November 20, 2011 It'll be interesting to see if Cindy will be the same player again. Dan Patrick on his radio show is saying doctors think he'll only be a 15 minute a night player if he's able to make a comeback. Crosby still sucks, but I wish him all the best in his return. WorkingOvertime 536 Report post Posted November 20, 2011 Do you take Monopoly money? Yes. My monopoly money isn't a full set anymore, so a new full set would be great. Although, I think we could bet something more Red Wings oriented instead- it is more fun that way.

vladdy16 2,154 Report post Posted November 21, 2011 No one can "blindly" hate HWSNBN - his image is in front of us whenever we watch a game, any game, surf the web or pick up a paper. Welcome back - Penguins don't need another career ended by concussions. Maybe we'll hear less about him now? Another LOL.
