Apparently he collapsed on the bench tonight. Hope he's alright.

It makes you think of the Jiri Fischer incident.

He was conscious on his way to the hospital for people wondering.

He was diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat this season at training camp.

The game will be postponed.

He is currently conscious at the hospital.

It's scary enough to see someone get injured physically, but like PredsFan said, when something goes wrong internally and it happens on the bench, that's enough to rip out your heart out with worry. Get well soon!

Scary to watch, here's the video. It has no sound but it's all I can find right now.

Man, we've been through this and it's scary as hell. At least they didn't have to watch Rich getting CPR performed on him. Hope he makes a full recovery.

That video made me tear up.. the looks on the Stars' faces was so sad - they didn't know if he was alive or OK.  Good on the officials for postponing the game.  Hoping for a good outcome for Rich.

This s*** is getting scary among athletes these days.  Hopefully the doctors can try to figure out what is causing it cause it's terrible when you see someone collapse on the bench.  Kids have died from this as well and I really don't want to see that happen.

Per TSN : Dr. Gil Salazar: "we treated [Peverley] for cardiac event successfully" "According to Dr. Salazar, Peverley was aware of where he was when became conscious and wanted to get back in to the game."

Just saw it on the NHL network, scary. Wish him the best.

Really brought me back to the Jiri Fischer incident which is the scariest thing I've ever seen during a sporting event

My first thought when I saw this was the Fischer incident. I think the score was the same and even the timing was similar, really scary to think how easily this can happen. NHL made the right choice no doubt.

Watched it on the Gamecenter Live. It was very scary seeing the way all of the players and coaching staff of both teams reacted. Glad to hear he is okay, but wow that is scary. This coming shortly after the Letang stroke too. Hope he will be okay.

Omg love Pevy, always wanted him in the wheel (but of course Nill cleverly got him). Really hope he's ok. Very good underrated player Rich is.

My thoughts and Prayers are with Rich Peverley I hope he gets better real soon! This reminds me of when Jiri Fischer had problems with his Heart and collapsed on the Bench we just like the Stars where down 1-0 in the Game and that was PP too.

That was hard to watch, all the best to him and a speedy recovery.

Wow at his comment, hockeyplayers are just the toughest guys outthere.
