cnot19 191 Report post Posted April 2, 2015 So make our top 6 more effective by putting in Teemu, and make our bottom 6 more effective by putting Helm down there? That makes too much sense for a Babs' line combos. Your lips to gods ears. I'd much prefer moving helm down and moving pulk to the second line and trying to get them preferable matchups

chaps80 1,591 Report post Posted April 2, 2015 I may be in the minority, but I think its time for Pav and Erik to suck it up and take a couple of shots and get their ass on the ice tonight! I fully agree. Especially Cole. Figures our "big, gritty, physical power forward" deadline move gets an "upper body injury" and milks it a couple weeks after coming here. As for tonight's game..they just need to play like they give a s*** and WIN, perhaps decisively, like we all know can be done.
frankgrimes 1,836 Report post Posted April 2, 2015 Very simple: 1. Wings show up or 2. are getting absolutely destroyed Boston is fighting for the playoffs and Chiarelli, Julien for keeping their job. 1 chaps80 reacted to this

GO WINGS!!! ps. we have Steve Kozari and Francois St. Laurent better than previous outing in my opinion. wings87 1,290 Report post Posted April 2, 2015 Desperate times require desperate measures. Oh young floating Mike Babcock lead us to victory and give us strength, especially in the yambag since Lucic plays tonight. Babs should take his lucky tie back from Mcgill. This is basically a playoff game again and he's still "possibly playing the next one." Unless it's really severe, there's no reason to keep waiting. You have all summer to heal if the Wings don't at least get into the playoffs first. Love the guy, but man does he miss a lot of time. 2 puckloo39 and chaps80 reacted to this

I have to agree with this. Yzerman skated on one leg. Lead. Or do not. I must say Dats reminds me of another perfectionist (see my avatar) who sometimes believed he would be ineffective if not 100%+ perfect. Not true, except in their minds. 80% of these players with their intangible talent is worth more than others who are 100% healthy. Miller is my hero. gcom007 1,465 Report post Posted April 2, 2015 I'll never criticize Dats. No one gives more on this team than him if you ask me. If he's not playing, there's probably a damn good reason. 2 yztheman and canadian wings fan reacted to this
