They just don't have that killer instinct to do what needs to be done when they get a scoring opportunity. If Nyquist one-times that shot instead of settling it and skating in a little closer he had a wide open net for that brief moment. Someone with that killer instinct would attempt the one-timer even if it was a poor pass. Maybe he should wear a Mrazek jersey and see if they feel like scoring for him then. Howard is 7th stats wise, but he's only played 16 games. He's pretty much 11th after the top ten who've played 20 or more. Either way though, he's playing the best he has in a long time. I'm surprised he's kept it up this long, even after his injury. Good work. Dubnyk is 1st stats wise with 24 games played. 15-6-3, 4 shutouts, 1.62 gaa .942 sv%. Wow!! Dubnyk is monster sized like Bishop, it seems to be the new upcoming trend of jumbo-tendies. Minnesota isn't an excellent team but he makes them look better than they are.
