They just don't have that killer instinct to do what needs to be done when they get a scoring opportunity. If Nyquist one-times that shot instead of settling it and skating in a little closer he had a wide open net for that brief moment. Someone with that killer instinct would attempt the one-timer even if it was a poor pass. Howard is 7th stats wise, but he's only played 16 games. He's pretty much 11th after the top ten who've played 20 or more. Either way though, he's playing the best he has in a long time. I'm surprised he's kept it up this long, even after his injury. Good work. Dubnyk is 1st stats wise with 24 games played. 15-6-3, 4 shutouts, 1.62 gaa .942 sv%. Wow!!
