Was hoping we'd get the pick to take him on. But I guess the LTIR contract is worth a lot more to them than most.

PK.  Would you deal for him?

If we got a pick or two with the last year of his deal for future considerations, and have the cap space, sure. If we're giving up anything at all, no.

Yeah maybe in a package for Zach Werenski, Yzerman just tendered him a contract. So to say there's been no contract discussion's is pure BS.

Haven't read anything about any offers or discussions between the 2 sides.

from this article

https://detroitsportsnation.com/red-wings-gm-steve-yzerman-discusses-intentions-for-rfa-tyler-bertuzzi/mwhitaker/nhl/detroit-red-wings-news/07/22/2021/254054/

While discussing the recent acquisition of goaltender Alexander Nedeljkovic, Yzerman said that not only is his goal to re-sign Bertuzzi, but to keep him in the Motor City long term.

“We want to keep Tyler here in the organization,” he said. “My hope is that we can figure something out so that he remains with the Red Wings not only this year, but in the future.”

The nephew of former NHL All-Star and Red Wings forward Todd Bertuzzi, the Red Wings selected Tyler 58th overall (Round 2) of the 2013 NHL Draft. During the 2019-20 NHL Season, Bertuzzi led all Red Wings scorers with 21 goals (27 assists) while putting up a career high 48 points.

So nothing officially offered but then again Yzerman like the Godfather is preparing in case things go sideways in negotiations.

The problem with Bert is if Yzerman can't come to terms with him on a longer deal, he'll go to arbitration again and become a UFA next year and be gone for nothing. This is why I have little doubt he gets moved sooner rather than later.

yeah - can't blame Grand Master Y for not willing to give him more $$$ and long term due to the unknown issues regarding his back

That combine with his style of play and age. He will likely be on the decline when the Wings contend again.

CBJ trying to move Max Domi

Would be a fun bizzaro world to have a Domi in a Wing uniform.

Friedman says Dvorak is on the block in Arizona. The Hockey Writers say Detroit are one of 5 teams in on him. I dunno.
