I love Nick, but haven't we heard this before? "If we lose Fedorov, we're screwed" "If we lose Bowman, we're screwed" "If we lose Yzerman, we're screwed" Nick is one of the greatest defenseman of all time, but we'll survive without him. It won't be easy at first, but we'll be fine. Kronwall will step it up (I honestly think he'll be the next Scott Stevens), we still have Raffy, Ericsson is just having a sophomore slump and I'm sure we'll get someone through FA over the next couple years. Lids will be missed A LOT, but its not the end of the world. As long as the Wings continue to play this system and fill the roster with smart two way players, we'll be successful.

I think mindfly is OK. You just gotta understand his humor and that he has these periodic problems.

I wouldn't say Mindfly is most hated. Sure he's a negative nancy but at least he has an opinion and says what he thinks. All you do is act like a jackass calling people dumb and questioning their credibility. I would rather read 1000 negative posts then read one posted by you .. just sayin'

Just trying to even things out too much homerism and biased people on here.. i think on a forum it's good to have some fresh air and to stir things up (in a good way, make people think twice) so not every post is LETS GO WINGS.. .hmm

Lidstrom will definitely be back next season.... which is exactly what I'll be saying to myself 5 years from now when I'm rocking back and forth in a padded room, having lost it and retreated to an imaginary world where #5 plays for the Red Wings forever. But seriously, he'll be back.

Ditto. People here wanted to throw Babcock under the bus for the handling of the Goaltending this year. They probably still do. I raise my glass to him. He made the hard decision to sit the 3 time cup wining goalie in favor of a rookie no one believed in. I'm sure it wasn't popular in the room either, but it was the right decision. However I did say that his numbers would easily be better than Osgood's and that he was for sure an NHL goaltender. It was a small group to be sure, but it's steadily growing now. The bandwagon is full but we can all fit, pile on.
