Yes, of course. However, the US didn't blow the lead in back-to-back gold medal games and lose. You see, I don't have a problem with Canada. I have a problem with Canadians having this sense of entitlement to the sport of Hockey. This shows in the arrogance of many Canadian fans, not all, but many. It may be a Canadian sport, but many other nations love it too and it gets pretty old seeing Canadians act like nobody else should be playing the game. Case in point, Canada was expected to win and they didn't.

Fair enough, luckily there isn't another world junior for another year so we wont have this argument for a while again haha. And my posts were not directly pointed at you. You and Konnan were a couple fo the only ones that explained your stance and it is refreshing to hear it, instead of the usual LGW bulls*** of oh theyre arrogant and cocky, but as soon as I bring up valid points, no one seems to fast to counter them except for you. I personally expect Canada to medal in every hockey tournament they play in. These expectations I'm sure are not off and I dont think it is arrogant to think so. This is one last point I want to clear up, Canadians dont think they own hockey. Canadians think they are the best at it, and I dont think this statement is wrong over the course of time. Same with football in the states, Lacrosse in Canada, Brazil in soccer etc. Certain countries are just dominant in certain sports and Canada is the country that dominates hockey the most.

This is completely ignorant, even if you are being sarcastic. How many great baseball players are not from America? Cabrera, Pujols, etc. How many great basketball players are not American? Nash, Nowitzki, etc. I think you get the picture. No one country owns any sport.

It's not that you think you're the best at hockey, it's the sense of entitlement that you should win, when that clearly isn't the case. Sports are sports and the best team doesn't always win, that's why they play the games.

Pulkkinen looked really smart out there. He's definitely not afraid to shoot the puck. Along with Jarnkrok he was the best part of the tourny for me (last night's loss to Russia being the worst).

Holy s*** they came back and won!!!! Wish i hadn't stopped watching after the 1st, i couldn't stand those arrogant Canadians winning another gold.

They were lazy. Played hard early on and then felt too comfortable to put up the same effort in the 3rd. They got what they deserved.
