That's the problem with some of the posters on this forum, they don't understand discussion. Even if things are long ranged, it's a nice thought to talk about. Discussion is better than nothing. Hedberg would be a nice thought, but Jonas Gustavsson I think I'd enjoy more. He's lost all his confidence while playing with the Leafs (in my opinion), and before he lost that, he was doing good. So why not boost your confidence while playing with the best Hockey team in the NHL? :-P

Well this can work for or against Nabokov. He knows that last time he priced himself out of the NHL but with a lower cap hit people are willing to give him a chance. With the Islanders claiming him I guess they finally see the truth in that DiPietro isn't their savior and are in need of a true #1. Good luck with that drama Nabokov for the rest of the season. Considering it took the media a couple of days to make sense of the rules themselves I say we did pretty good on assumptions.

Man, people are taking this harder than I thought they would. It makes all the sense in the world for the Isles to claim him. What was the contract pro-rated at, like $250k? Meh, Ive watched a tonne of Griffs games this year and Emmerton does a lot of the little things right. He can PK, wins defensive zone faceoffs, and is producing at a pretty similar rate. On top of that Emmerton is yonuger and has been a guy the wings have developed over like 3 years. Emmerton deserved his shot more then Ilari
