That's the problem with some of the posters on this forum, they don't understand discussion. Even if things are long ranged, it's a nice thought to talk about. Discussion is better than nothing. Hedberg would be a nice thought, but Jonas Gustavsson I think I'd enjoy more. He's lost all his confidence while playing with the Leafs (in my opinion), and before he lost that, he was doing good. So why not boost your confidence while playing with the best Hockey team in the NHL? :-P

Man, people are taking this harder than I thought they would. It makes all the sense in the world for the Isles to claim him. What was the contract pro-rated at, like $250k? They hardly have a healthy goalie right now. If anything some fans on Long Island might find it worthwhile to go to a game right now. Stop the garbage that Wong was just out to screw us. What benefit does he have to screw the Wings? I'm over it. On top of it, he's going to an eastern conference team. What if he had gone to a playoff contender in the West?

I really have been waiting for Emmerton to play. I though the Wings should have sent Tatar back down and put Corey up for a few anyways. This has nothing to do with Tatar's play but with the fact that we are running out of time with Emmerton and I want to get a feel for what he can do now. Honestly number one with a bullet of guys that could get traded for something at the deadline is Emmerton. He might be our best most developed prospect that we would be willing to part with... Why not give him a few games to figure out? Fil will be back next game, but I hope Emmerton still is here so we can see him build upon what he does today. I am starting to embrace injuries for what they allow us to find out about our farmboys. However, please stop now okay? I kind of hope not, if there is only one spot available next season it should go to Mursak. I think we all can agree that he has been playing the best out of the bruised boy back ups!

Most people tend to think Lou Lam was forced by ownership to sign Kovalchuk. I don't buy that. Ever since the Salary Cap came, Lou Lam has failed miserably. Holland adapted very well and one could argue he has actually been a BETTER GM since the Cap was implemented. Holland and Lamoriello have generally been regarded as the NHL's 2 best GM's over the past 10-12 years. To me, one went one way and the other went into the toilet. Good thing we have Kenny.
