Seriously, what is wrong with the energy level of this team? They look like they just got done playing 20 games in a row. I'm out of shape, can't ice skate, and would probably kill myself trying, but I'd have more energy out there than they did. Are they physically incapable of playing back to back games? Trades won't fix that, but giving their coaching staff a kick in the ass might.

Well, at least Jimmy played a good game.

Kinda weird how these nothing goalies always seem to play as Superman against Detroit.

Psst. Here's a history lesson about Tomas Kopecky. Back when he played in the AHL, on a line with Hudler and Don MacLean, I said he could develop into a top-six forward. People here laughed and made fun of me. When he played on the fourth line in Detroit, I held fast and said he could be a top-six forward, and ideally learn to use his size effectively. Hey, look, guess what? Tomas Kopecky is a top six forward in the NHL. He scored over 40 points last year. He'll probably do it again this year. He plays PP and PK. You can dislike the guy, but at least give him credit. Even if you don't give me any.

I never implied you said "criticism isn't allowed." It's the actions of you and the larger clique that try to shut down criticism by flaming anyone who makes posts that you don't like. Honestly I don't even think you're one of the big offenders, but you did say the team needs better fans, fans that don't overreact at the drop of a ******* hat and told people to calm down, then listed all the things that wouldn't help as if they were fact. Not a huge leap to interpret that as you wishing the suggestions and criticism that's going on lately would stop. There's getting to be more posts here lecturing people about calming down or how they need to be real fans than there is actual talk about the game lately.

That would mean we had Kyle Wellwood on the team.

I bet we lose him. Maybe not on the way down, but if he clears, goes down and plays well, we lose him on re-entry. I am not a fan of this move.
