TERRIBLE period by the Wings. What the hell is it going to take for Babcock to GIVE PAVS A LINEMATE?>!?!? IT is really making me furious! Our best forward is unable to do anything, game in and game out, on a freakin line with Cleary, but yet Babcock STILL uses that line. By the end of this game, Pavs better have a good linemate because I am sick of it. This team will go NOWHERE unless Pavs is able to get going and that is only going to happen with a good linemate.

There's no problem in traps. They can be beat and everyone can use them. The problem was Flyers not trying to attack. It's the responsibility of the team who has the puck to keep the game going, try to score. Other team tries to prevent the scoring. Other team doesn't have to try to take the puck back. Most important priority is to prevent scoring, not to take the puck back. So don't gimme that argument, ok?

I couldn't see the penalty because my stream froze, but I'm guessing it was when he knocked that guy on his ass? He does need to cut down on penalties, but there I'm kind of okay with it. He needs to make guys pay around the net, and honestly Homer gets hits as bad or worse every game and it doesn't get called.

Yeah, because being without TWO of your powerplay pointmen is great. Absolutely.

This is why we NEED to get an Enforcer at the deadline. IF anything the hit should have fired us up.

We do have Ericsson, Abby and Commodore dressed for this game. They're hardly "enforcers", but they should do something if this s*** continues.

I decided to drag out my old crystal ball to see who will win tonight. Unfortunately, it was fogged up and the only thing I found was the last 4 letters of the coach's last name.

So "no intent to injure" is claimed by Lucic... ...and somehow this one claim alone outweighs the fact that A. it was an illegal play; B. Lucic is a repeat offender; C. Miller was injured and concussed on the play; D. the player made no attempt to play the puck; E. there was contact with the head; F. he was laughing about it right afterwards.... Seems pretty textbook if you ask me. I was a fan of Shanny's work to start the season, but since that time it has been as confusingly inconsistent as ever.
