1 pointunlike a lot of people here, I don't think Conklin has been as bad as his numbers suggest. I've watched every game and seen how many goals against him were the result of shoddy defensive play, or flukey goals going in off defenders sticks, skates, etc. Having said that, Joey has been better and earned the job...kudos to him, he was good last year as well.

I havnt heard this yet but I did read that the Bruins technically had 22 wins in a row because the streak continued into the next season, but unfortunately for them the NHL doesnt "carry over" from one season to the next. Either way the Wings are in the record books. Sorry Boston. -
1 pointthat was the first thing i looked for when i saw it the first time 2. Everything the nhl does including the website is a fail, i already submited a complaint to nhl.com (not that the nhl ever listens to its fans). there is no moment in playoff history that can touch anyones heart wings fan or not, more that the image of vladdie with the cup on his lap.
