exactly. If every signing is overpayment, then it's not actually overpaying. It just means that's what the free agent market costs.

All the teams interested will offer the maximum allowed so the bank will have nothing to do with it

There are some really good ones that didn't make the GDT because they are out of the line-up. here are a few of them. They were made for Avatars though so they're smaller and have the background replaced with the Wings Logo. I thought Babs, and Helm both came out pretty good, Maude Bertuzzi is good for a laugh as well

Getting Jay Bouwmeester for a reasonable pricetag and adding Dan DeKeyser would be a succesful t radedeadline in my eyes but like mentioned before, if prices don't reach a reasonable point rather stay pat.

This is a real bummer. I don't care what anybody around here says, his size, strength and hands, make him valuable to this team. I'm still holding out hope that Bert makes is back this season.

I feel like pierre doesnt necessarily know hockey that well, he just knows a lot of hockey facts. every game i watch i want to break my tv because he always tries to play 6 degrees of kevin bacon hockey edition. what i mean by that is he always tries to show off that he knows which players played for which junior team and had some random coach that no one cares about. hes like the worst example of a name dropper. yet i feel like his actual analysis is often not that great. he often tries to lead edzo into additional analysis by proposing theories but i find they usually are off the mark. in my opinion he is an example of someone that is book smart about hockey but not street smart about the actual game. regarding murph, i hate to see him go. a couple years ago he got a decent amount of time on the nhl network wrap up show at night. i felt he was very solid on there. (certainly better than that tool jamie mclennan they have now!) i also hope this does not mean an increased role for darren eliot as i feel he is TERRIBLE with a capital T. i do not like him at all and will actually mute the tv or turn the channel when he is on.

Wings do have a ton of prospects right now, what's the harm in maybe letting Jurco, Ferraro or Pulkinnen go? There are a few untouchables like Mrazek, Sproul, Sheahan, but the rest I might be able to be talked into letting go. I'm excited about our prospects, but we really do have quite a few, and may need to shed some, so others can get the opportunity to play in Grand Rapids and develop.

Well if he doesn't trade Tatar we're not doing anything because god knows Nyquist isn't going anywhere. I mean, look at how he stickhandles. Kid's gonna be a star I tell ya.
