I feel like you aren't reading what I am writing. I never said Blashill deserves to keep his job, and I never said that I am satisfied with Blashill. What I said was that I would prefer to have Blashill over Gallant because I feel Blashill has more upside then Gallant. If I had my way, we would be bringing in none of the above but that was not the question you originally asked.

I know a lot of people HATED this pick in 2015, but I think we have a top four Dman here. Watched last nights Missasauga/Oshawa game online. Vili is smaller...but he doesn't stand out as being tiny. What stands out is his skating and passing and the way he QB's the power play. Defensively he's not very physical..but he's really quick with the stick and he handles th puck well coming out of his end. the announce crew from Oshawa called him "dynamic" and a "steal" in the draft. He maybe isn't Nik...but he's got Rafalski level upside for sure. Looking forward to seeing what he can do in GR next season. That Missasauga team has some serious skill. Owen Tippett is an elite scorer...he made an inside/out move that was highlight reel stuff and he plays with a nasty streak. DMan Nick Hague skates very well for a 6-5" 18 year old. Doesn't have a real physical edge to his game...he let a guy carrying slip past him along the boards instead of rubbing him off the puck. Buy I don't know if that was just a mistake or a sign of an issue. Could live with having both and nothing else from this year's draft

Callahan and Street for sure. Pasquale probably gets another year too.. he went 14-9-2 for the Griffins with a 2.49 gaa and 0.916 s%. Just under the numbers Coreau put up in Grand Rapids this year. McIlrath will depend on how many of the D prospects stay in Grand Rapids. I'd like to see Callahan on the wings 4th line out of camp this year and the rest will be in GR.

Ladies and gentlemen , the idea of this thread was to not have trades and ufa guys signed, it's in essence to make your best roster with what we have now in the organisation. I'm sure well have plenty of threads in due course discussing potential Signings and trades. Could we keep to our original theory as I was going to compile a roster when I had enough suggestions as to what our roster could look like with all our combined lists evened out, after all its just a bit of fun. Its a joke the stuff weber gets away with. 20 seconds to go in a game or not, if there is a clear penalty then the refs need to call it. That cross check non call led to montreal being able to tie the game. Just ridiculous. I really hope the rangers get the W in ot.

he had a couple of plays like that. In the early minutes of the first he hugged a Washington forward. and during a scrum, I think in the 2nd, he went for the leg and try to take the player down like that. Kind of over aggressive, if you ask me... and I love this play at least Dom was playing the puck ...I guess

Blashill has gotten worse from last season to this season. He sits guys like AA while Sheahan goes scoreless for 83 games, his line combos make no sense and the guys he puts on the PP make even less sense, he flip flops goalies too much, he had Kronwall playing 20 plus minutes on dead knees while being a negative presence on the ice, never sat Errorsson or DD for their brain farts and own goals...list goes on. I don't see him getting any better. He's in way over his head and has been since day one. Maybe Gallant isn't the answer either, but I'd give almost anyone else a chance over Blash at this point.
