Lindstrom has shown to be the most likely to stick at the NHL level. He won't be a top 4 D, 3rd pair or 7th most likely, but he gives you a safer option.
Cholowski has more potential, IMO, but hasn't shown that he can stick at the NHL level yet. I think he could be a 2nd pair, but he could be a bust, too.
It all depends if Yzerman wants to take the risk with Cholowski, or play it safe with Lindstrom.
