Jesus. Pretty skimpy return for Buffalo.

Just to be clear, I never said Zadina was the next Tarasenko. From the start, my expectation of him was to be the 2nd line left wing who scores 40-50 points a year. And that expectation didnt have a 2 season time frame on it. This KID is 21 years old. He has been an NHLer now for 2 years, which is a far cry from the 4-5 year AHL ripening period we gave Tatar and Nyquist. Im not saying he's going to develop into the 60-70 pt guy we want. Im saying he could. And like I said before - next man up? Chase Pearson? You can ***** about Dekeyser right now because we DO have better alternatives. As far as Zadina, he's head and shoulders better than the alternative at this point.

Piping hot: Veleno. Lots of potential. I like what I've seen of him. Cooling off: Hronek. Held us together during the bad seasons where he was it. Needs to get that swagger back. Useful for Empty Net Goals. Kinda chilly: Rasmussen. I haven't seen anything yet to make me think he'll still be around for long. Funky cold: Zadina. I had hopes for him, but he just hasn't made the turn from "guy from the AHL who will get it soon" to "guy who belongs up with the team". Maybe he will eventually blossom, but I think he'll do it on another team. Just my 0¢ CDN.

If it was the Da Vid league would have said he was in protocol... If it was an injury ..be no biggie unless his neck is jacked beyond playing again..and they are trying to figure out a path forward. OR because this is a RUMORS thread... Alcohol issues? Drug issues? Boy/Girl friend issues? Family issues? Jealous over Bert's constant mentioning due to the non-vax status and wanted some press? Has decided Hockey is too dangerous due to his recent conversion to Buddhism

A classic it's not Zadina's fault he's awful post... it's his linemates fault... a lot of the others are getting their eyes opened... soon you'll all be telling me you weren't high on Zadina agreeing with me with out admitting it.

Unless Kessel can de-age 7 or 8 years and play center, stay away.

Need to trade Zadina and Rasmussen soon while they still have "potential."
