The `Mikael Samuelson` curse is very apporiate. That guy has his way when he gets pissed. Look what happened after he was cut from the Swedish olympic team. The guy has been on a tear ever since telling them to go f*** themselves,

With Homer hurt, Sammy would have been their next choice.

Not anymore, I guess.

Should have kept his mouth shut.

Wait...

http://detnews.com/article/20100108/SPORTS...n-final-seconds

"He was out after practice like he always is, working on redirecting shots from the blue line," general manager Ken Holland said. "One of the shots (from Brett Lebda) hit him on the foot. It's obviously very disappointing to have a freak injury like that after practice when a guy is just putting in extra work."

.... :ranting:

You... Cannot... Be... Serious!!! Lebda?!?!?!! BAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!

All right. We need to pony up and get HR40 some tickets on the glass so she can flash those fabulous ta-tas and keep the team going. One touch from the godess of forum whores will make Homers boo-boo all better. Get it done, Rabs!

Do you think a pair of these would have helped?

Why not try them? Especially when you earn your living in front of the net.

By the way, Free Press says he is now maybe out 2-3 weeks only.

INJURY UPDATES: Tomas Holmstrom, who suffered a non-displaced fracture in his foot after taking a Brett Lebda shot following Wednesday's practice, has been downgraded to possibly being out just two to three weeks.

hopefully in a week another injured wing is back-

It appears the Red Wings defense will be bolstered maybe as soon as in a week, as big Jonathan Ericsson is getting closer to returning.

Ericsson hasn't played since suffering a bruised knee Dec. 14, but he's been skating and is improving.

"I feel better," he said Friday. "I feel a lot better on the ice, like, stronger - I can push more and my strides are getting better. So I just need to get my full range of motion back and then I'm good to go."

Ericsson estimated he'd be back in 7-10 days.

Didn't someone say that Kronwall wore those? Or am I confused on this issue?

I believe they had made some kind of boot cover for Kronwall and said Stuart was going to try them out at one point. Seems like a no-brainer to me as long as the material doesn't impede skating, which may be an issue.
