Hockeytown0001 7,652 Report post Posted November 27, 2014 (edited) Why a Hawks jersey in the crowd? Edited November 27, 2014 by Hockeytown0001
GoWings1905 2,694 Report post Posted November 27, 2014 Maybe it's based on the fact that very recently(last year) they did? Why is that relevant now? This Wings team is clearly improved from last season and the Flyers are ten points back already. The Wings are much closer to first overall in the conference than they are to the Flyers. 1 krsmith17 reacted to this

marcaractac 3,963 Report post Posted November 27, 2014 Hell I'd still trade him right now. If he continues it for the rest of the year and next year then I can admit I was wrong. But it's been two games... Why are people living in the moment of one game so much? Do people not realize a season is 82 games? Nah, we're just not as negative as you and actually enjoy the games. But please continue to ignore his entire career and act as if his current hot streak is nothing more than a fluke. 2 krsmith17 and jimmyemeryhunter reacted to this

kliq 3,755 Report post Posted November 27, 2014 (edited) Philly beat us last year in the standings by literally 1 point. Our kids are 1 year older and should keep getting better, and if our vets can stay healthy we should easily beat them in the standings. I think about Detroit the same way I thought about them before the season started, a team with a ton potential if everything is clicking. So far they are playing exactly as I predicted them. I thought based on their roster they would finish somewhere in the 3-6 seed range. It is a long season and there is a ton of hockey left, but I think some people almost wanted them to stink to validate all the Holland bashing done this summer. Dabura 12,207 Report post Posted November 27, 2014 Weiss was our best forward tonight in terms of Corsi-for percentage. That, to me, is even more encouraging than the three goals in two games.

e_prime 1,936 Report post Posted November 27, 2014 (edited) Good to hear Bill Clement doing the commentary. I love these two guys tonight broadcasting the game tonight. Just realized one of them was Clement. You guys are kidding, right? By far THE WORST. Clement is still stuck on how old our team is... "Oldest team in the league." Really, Bill. What about NJ where 95% of their forward core is 30+ ...and talking about how we over-ripen our prospects. No, duh Bill. This is how it works in Detroit. I mean, we could be Philly where we just trade everyone away before anyone gets any time at all. BLOCKBUSTER TRADES!!! As far as the game goes... we really need to figure out the third period. There was a hell of a lot of scrambling. First period, poor. Second period, good. Third period, poor. Edited November 27, 2014 by e_prime
