Hi, I am not a hater at all and LOVE the wings, but I honestly think some of you are a little off on Abby. I don't think he was playing playoff hockey, he was playing reckless in my opinion. First the slew foot was just plain stupid and dirty. The scrum at the end although looked nice, looked more like a frustrated player absolutely losing his mind. Honestly I don't think he connected on any punches, all to the helmet and back of the head. I think Blunden got messed up when he ran head first into his own player immediately before that. I may be wrong about that though.

I would play Mrazek in game 3, but not because Jimmy is at fault, but rather that I think Mrazeks style is a better fit for the Lighting.

The bolts get ALOT of one-timers that force Jimmy to go left to right or vice versa (I feel that 80% of their goals were this), and to make saves like that you need to be extremely athletic and have fast lateral movement. Jimmy is a fundamentally sound goaltender, but a super athlete he is not. Mrazek has that ability, which is why i think he did so well against the Bolts last year. His style can stifle their way of scoring. We do not have a better offense then Tampa, we need great goaltending/D.

The refs have completely blown this series for both teams, Tampa just happens to be capitalizing and we aren't. Officials dictated how this series is played from the get go and ruined what could have been a hard fought and well played series. Both teams have to be frustrated but the wings just aren't responding well at all. I think these two games could have went completely different if the refs didn't play such a huge part of both games

All six Red Wings on the ice for the game-winning goal were within a stick's length of the puck when it went in. It's not just Howard.

That said, I wonder if Holland would consider starting Mrazek in Detroit just to shake things up. Remind Tampa of how hard things were last year and make a statement to the team that we have to re-capture that mentality.
