I like the fact that he's a righty, Wings are short on those at forward. Also, he led the Laffs in points a couple years ago, I believe. Could use more offense too. Andy Pred 48 337 Report post Posted September 10, 2017 if Booth is over his Concussion issues and plays hard then he'd be a decent 8-12 guy and PA has the tools to come in and put up 30-35 points on the top 9. On the other hand id sooner get Svech up full time with little Bert than sign guys that will keep them in GR another year. It is becoming more and more frustrating. No way we'll sign both. I'd say Parenteau has a decent chance IF Athanasiou goes to Russia, but I don't see that happening either. A deal will be worked out with AA to stay in Detroit over the next couple weeks. Bertuzzi should make the team as a 4th line winger out of camp. He will have to beat out Witkowski, Parenteau and Booth. Svechnikov will likely start the season in Grand Rapids, and be first on the list of call-ups. I'd be okay with that.
