Axl Foley 334 Report post Posted July 2, 2023 He couldn't reach the long term deal he wanted in Detroit. Got traded. Couldn't get the term he wanted in Boston. Goes to free agency. Signs one year deal with Toronto for the same salary he would have probably gotten from Detroit or Boston and for way less term. Better luck next summer Tyler. LeftWinger 5,153 Report post Posted July 3, 2023 Is it too early to start talking about the 2024 TDL? I think the Perron, Fabbri, Kubalilk are prime candidates to be traded on of before the TDL. Especially if Kubi and Perron have similar season's. The only thing that may stop that is if Wings are actually in a playoff race! That being said, I'd like to see the Wings STILL acquire Konecy this season (hopefully this summer) AND sign Debrincat next July. Wings need to extend Seider and Raymond, but they will have over $37M cap available next July. FWIW, I'd still like to see Bokk and Wilde signed into the organization. Pretty sure a LGWs smartguy compared Bert to David Clarkson a while back whilst U were busy polishing his knob. Guess which team made the mistake of signing that guy to a big contract. Sorry misunderstood but is a strange bit of timing. Maybe pre season wakeup call? Bowman level mind games? So same rules apply as in season low to high for claiming off the wire correct?
