    Please help.

I believe you can listen to the games for free through the Wings' radio feed on the station's website. That's what I do. You don't need to watch the game in order to follow it/enjoy it.

    Mario Lemieux- Order Of Canada

Yzerman is 6th all time scoring in NHL history, one of 3 players to ever score 155 points in a season (guess who the other two are), three Stanley Cups, Pearson, Conn Smythe, Selke, and an Olympic Gold Medal. People talk about how much more Lemieux would have done without the bad back and cancer. Wonder what Yzerman would've done with a good knee for the last 15 years of his career. 30-40 seems a bit low. This just in, Stevie gives Canada the Order of Yzerman. Country bows and feels unworthy.

What hurts about the loss isn't the loss, its how it happened. The Wings were clearly the more talented team, even Pens fans will admit to that, but we had tons of injuries, the instigator/suspension with Malkin thing, the 6 guys on the ice thing, Talbot slashing Datsyuk's broken foot, the Crosby taking cheap shots at Z, pretty much the whole Pens team gooning it up in Game 5, Talbot is their "hero" in Game 7. If the Pens had played a clean series and won because they were a better team or a more talented team, it would be easier. But losing to a team that acts like a bunch of dbags and watching Captain WhinyFace lift the Cup in the Joe, is what stings.

I was at game 5. It was a really good memory. But alas, it was tarnished by game 7. The worst part for me was that I was back at school for game 7 and one of my good friends is a Pens fan and I made the mistake of watching the game with him and another Detroit fan. After Lidstrom's last shot, I collapsed on the couch in a haze. My Detroit buddy turns off the tv, and my Pens fan friend is yelling to get the feed back on. It was a complete mess of emotions. I eventually made my friend turn it back on for him because I would be devastated if I couldn't see my team win. But that was one of the hardest things to do. Edit: and I can't believe how many people didn't watch the game. Game seven, SCF finals at home?? I would have the game on even if my child was being born in the same room.

I turned the TV off as soon as the buzzer sounded. I honestly thought Lidstrom was going to score there at the end when I saw half the net open. When he didn't, I just turned off the monitor and buried my head in my hands on the table. I did eventually turn it back on for the handshake line, but turned it off immediately thereafter. So I never saw the celebration or any of that s***. Too embarrassed to watch them skate the Cup on our ice. Honestly, I wouldn't have missed the game for my own wedding, let alone someone else's.

You're not wrong. To this day, I've never seen the handshake line, or the cup raise from that game. Call it sour grapes, whatever.

    Quebec City getting new arena

I don't see how it benefits a place like Québec City to go into debt to build a new arena when they've already got one. Yeah, it's old, but they could update it like the Oilers have (as someone mentioned in the comments). It's not like they need to try extra hard to lure the people there into going to games with the bait of a state-of-the-art facility; I'd imagine that the rabid, hockey-starved fanbase would show up come hell or high water at this point. And hey, if they really want a new one, why not just hang out at the old one for a few years, keep costs down, and then build a new one with money in hand? And why the heck does the League care either way as long as it meets minimal standards? Do they profit from this in some way I don't understand? And why is QC so eager to do this when Bettman has been yanking around Winnipeg, who has already built a new, NHL-spec arena, for a while now? As for an actual opinion, I'd love to see QC and Winnipeg both get new teams, especially since Winny has already built an arena and QC is going to; I'd hate to see them go through all the trouble and then have Bettman thumb his nose at them. Winnipeg Coyotes and Québec City Thrashers FTW!

Howard deserves his own cereal box and he'd kick everybody's ass in here in a Boggle tournament!

Greiss basically just asked to be traded. and to the poster about wait your ******* turn. It was Osgood and Conklin. Not Howard. It was greiss's turn after Nabokov, Nabokov Left. This was greiss chance. He waited for 3 years for this chance, and DW basically signed two goalies. DW made it clear in a few years, its Alex Stalock's team. Alex Stalock is our goalie in the minors, that is probably our best goalie prospect. And DW I don't think well trade Nitty. He usually doesn't usually do a sign and trade, if he does trade Nitty. I'll be surprised. I wouldn't be suprised if Greiss is traded before training camp. Or package him with Clowe for a top four d man at the deadline.

I think he is still with the wings...the video department. He rewinds the tapes from gameplay and practice. And in Stevies office he makes sure theres a coffee and newspaper on his desk. And that the toilet seat is down in his private bathroom...LOL...

    Quebec City getting new arena

40% of money that NHL made (last 2-3 seasons) are coming from Canadian teams... There are 50 000 of Quebec Nordiques fans (according to http://www.nordiquesnation.com/) and Phoenix has something like 200, Islanders 220... Relocation is fine - NO TO EXPANSION http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pierre_Karl_P%C3%A9ladeau He's very interested in Nordiques... That's what I told you couple of weeks ago. False, Stockwell Day said no regarding funding for a NHL TEAM not a new arena. Josée Verner said that they are going to put money on a new arena. http://fullcomment.nationalpost.com/2010/09/02/stephen-harper-quebec-nordiques-fan/

Thanks - you might even receive a t-shirt... I'm not fan (and never was) of Nordiques... but can't be worst than Islanders, Yotes, Trashers... It's very easy: Your first name: Your last name: D.O.B.: E-mail: Fav player (Nordique): Size of your t-shirt: And that's it... more than 26 000 people in less than 72 hours.

NOBODY else watching, eh? LOL..... Didn't think so. **Edit** After that 3rd goal against, the game tying goal, scored from the goal line.... Anyone STILL want to argue that goaltending was NOT a detriment to the Wings this past Post Season? Sheesh....

    Mario Lemieux- Order Of Canada

Agreed. If that. I mean seriously, Lemieux is 1-4 all time, Yzerman is top30-40. As for Steve Y better defensively? Who cares? Lemieux is so much better offensively that his defense is irrelevant. The other team prayed they do not get scored on. Mario is up there with Gordie Howe. And do not forget - Yzerman was great defensively when he scored around 80 points, he was not good defensively when he was in his offensive prime. But since this is LGW and most people are Yzerman worshipers, we are gonna get a lot of neg points.

    Mario Lemieux- Order Of Canada

Yes. But there were far better players than Steve (you know, not just forwards ), whether you want to admit that or not. Points are not everything. Messier is second in points all-time. Is he even close to top 4 ever? No freaking way. Yzerman scored 155 points in the 80s, era with most goals per game. When he did that, he was NOT a good two way player. When he became one, his scoring took a big hit. No sane person would even consider taking Steve Yzerman over Mario Lemieux on any team. Ever.

    Quebec City getting new arena

I'm curious, being that both Quebec and Winnipeg just recently had teams leave because of financial issues, why do people want teams there again? It's been proven that they can't support NHL teams. Unless I'm missing something, I just don't get it. It's like saying we should elect Bush again. The teams left there for a reason, there is no reason to put them back where they failed already. I'd rather see a team in Seattle or Kansas.
