    Hudler's Future

Hudler sucks. He's slow. Lazy. Can't play defense and can't score without the help of Datsyuk, who can make anyone look great. See Thornton/Cheechoo. Get rid of 'im.

I dont see an actual article on TSN about it but they have the video posted on the main TSN NHL page. Anyways, I guess it's not as much fun when you start playing against a team who dives as much as you do.

    Sharks Accuse Canucks of Diving

What, are they mad the Canucks are trying to steal their thunder or because they want lessons?

    Changes in the offseason

Trade him for Clowe then maybe I do really like Clowe's heart and game an awful lot so if Mule could figure that out, I'd be quite pleased. A move we have needed is toward youth next year and that's with the emergence Muskrat (Mursak). I saw a ton of speed, grit, and even a snipe at times. I like his game a lot and will be a great 4th line addition. Mursak-Helm-Eaves? I mean, yes, that's a damn good 4th line assuming Helmer doesn't move up to the 3rd. The addition in FA I want is Kevin Bieksa. Brings all things to the table that this team needs back on the blue line and his quote about diving that came out recently even hammered that fact home more.

    Sharks Accuse Canucks of Diving

You can thank the s***ty refs and a ******* horrible refereeing system of selective penalty calling for why both teams dive so much and get away with it.

Notable Restricted/Unrestricted Free Agents in 2011

Kaberle? Really? You want a soft defenseman without defensive skill, one whom Leafs fans didn't even like? If you dislike Rafalski, then why would you want Kaberle? The latter is far worse defensively.

    Holland or Yzerman?

I'm really pulling for the Lighting

I don't understand how some can speculate that Cleary and Filppula should be traded when they were two of the more consistent players in the playoffs.. Every year it's "Cleary is expendable" no matter what the guy does.

It's amazing how some people can't grab that concept.

I've found some images, my main problem is different websites claiming different years. (I've seen this one claimed as '36 and '37?) (I've seen this one claimed as '36 and '37?) (I think this is '54) (I think this is '55) (I think this is '50) (Not really sure what year this is at all)

The offer-sheet needed to sign Weber would cost the Wings four first round picks (two first round, a second, and a third if you believe Nashville won't match 6.5 million). Not only is this not a deal Holland would likely make because of how draft picks are valued, but Nashville would be crazy not to match any offer under 7 million. If anyone seriously believes Weber will be a Wing next year, I'll start taking that bet. The only UFA/RFA's I'd like to see the Wings go after are gritty forwards/d. The talented players are going to be looking to get as much of that cap raise as possible, and there won't be many deals. Konopka and Peckham are two players I would like. As far as forward talent is concerned, Franzen would need to be traded.

    Yes, because Konner knows everything

1 - he gets a labled as being a bad skater because he's a bad skater. 2 - he's the master of tipped pucks in front of the net, we all know that, and i'm not arguing that. but what about what happens with our top line on the other two thirds of the ice? playing defense. getting the puck into the zone. setting up the cycle (so he can get into his spot). if you really want to get the most out of him, take him off the top line, and make him a power play specialist (bertuzzi, on the other hand, can rot away as a healthy scratch until he decides to be an enforcer for all i care). 1 - we all know he's smart (/a great guy/hard-worker/etc/etc/etc). so is draper. so is maltby. so is modano. moving on. 2 - you can afford it if you like getting knocked out in the second round, i guess.

Yeah I somewhat agree Homer and Bert on the top 2 lines doesn't work. Homer should hang em up and unfortunately we are stuck with Bert for one more year.

God no. I can't stand this philosophy on lines, where you have two guys who control the puck and the other sits in front of the net. It's like we're institutionally shorthanded.

    Changes in the offseason

Finally, you've seen the light. I'm glad you've admitted your follies in the past. Now it's time for Holland to go out and make it happen.

"My heart just isn't in it, anymore". Said 1 week before the playoffs. He's lucky to have seen the ice at all.

Ericsson probably saw how much Lebda got paid, and figured he deserved the same. I say Toronto signs him and pairs him with Lebda.
