Here's what cracks me up - Edzo and Co. keep whining about the "subtle interference" the Wings get away with - if that's true, at least the Wings make an effort to be subtle. At 11:38 in this video Franzen in on his knees after the whistle is blown. 2 Hawks come up to him and start crosschecking him, one in front, one in back. That's the kind of s*** Chicago pulls and gets away with, so I don't want to hear one more word from Edzo and Hawks fans about anything penalty related.

So I thought long and hard about how I could make this even funnier, and in the end, I came up empty. Resizing a screen cap counts as a photoshop, right?

The obvious one :

1. I think it's hilarious. f*** the Pens. 2. Absolutely not. You don't cut Howard off at the knees like that and Holland needs to use his cap space wisely to restock the defense.

Pens look good because they haven't been tested and faced a worthy opponent yet. The Bruins-Pens ECF would leave me thinking it would be a slobber-knocker of a series.

Normally I'd say the Pens would hang on to him. However, they'll need to dump salary before next season I believe. Tough call. As far as the Wings go, Jimmy's a work-horse. Play him as much as you can next year, and hope Monster is healthy and capable of playing a few games. Then bring Mrazek up for 14-15.

Yikes you must be serious.... Downie - missed all but 2 games with a major knee injury. O'Brien - couldn't even stick as a regular on the LAST PLACE team in the conference. Kobasew - UFA who garnered a whopping 9 points. I repeat...UFA. In return you're offering 3 young red wing players who seem to all be having breakout years. I don't think you put a speck of logical thought into this and are severely clouded by your obvious desire to add some "enforcement" to the team.

I saw this blowing up on twitter this morning. After just barely preventing my heart from falling out of my ass, I firmly placed my tinfoil hat on in a stylish and not at all tacky manner and got pissed off for a moment. I HATE THE TIMING OF THESE ANNOUNCEMENTS!!!!! It seems like whenever the Wings are playing well and in a groove, some "news" comes up to take the focus off their success. The Nill exodus, now this Pav thing? LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE!!!!11!! Then I took off the tinfoil hat, satisfied that I had gotten the day's paranoia out of the way first thing in the morning. Whatever happens, happens. I'm going to enjoy the fact that we have one more season with our Magic Man, and if and when he decides to leave us I will openly weep like a child.

I don't think Pittsburgh is giving up on fluery... They are riding Vokoun because he is the hot goalie. Fluery will be their main horse once again when Vokoun stumbles theses playoffs... (Against Boston, I have a lot of faith in them beating Pitt) then fluery will get the net back.

HAHA, those were thrown from my section, at a dumb time, and they were not boiled-- I got hit with residue. Here is my report: the section I was in had an usher who is a complete toolbag, had to tell every person not to bang on the glass... (Section was near one of the circles, not by a bench or anything). I went for the toss even though I had a strong feeling that if caught, the guy would do anything to get me the fine etc. I got it out with the empty net, it was very small and I went ninja toss person to right and bro to left of me both didnt even see. Usher was facing other way. SUCCESS. KEEP IT UP EVERYONE! It is a great tradition, but do it right, after goal, after winning game or maybe after a period. And boil them, your kitchen will smell a bit, but thats what a fan deals with
