There are a lot of big skilled first rounders this year. As such, at least one guy like Mantha, Gauthier, or Zykov, could realistically fall down to the 20-22 pick. If Detroit wants a big, strong, skilled, winger this is the year to get it. There's absolutely NO REASON for them to take someone like McCarron in the first when they could get a legit power forward for that in this year's draft with minimal effort. If they don't take one in the first, it's because they don't want one...which should be telling.

Chicago's average height and weight at forward - 6'1 201lbs Detroit's average Height and weight at forward - 6'0 201lbs. I wouldn't say that's way bigger upfront.

Franzen-Mursak-Frk would be a good Griffens line.

The next few years in Grand Rapids will be good ones. Our top prospects are finally ready to play in the minors, yes they'll be their for a while, but that's all for the better. The future is bright, Jurco-Jarnkrok-Pulkinen would be a deadly top unit next year.

They need to be ripe before they can over-ripen. Ferraro may be ready for an Emdog style of role. Almquist looks ready, but there is just no room for him. Outside of those two the rest need developing.

These were better.

I like it. They simplified the jerseys without losing the look they're known for. Overall I think this is a definite upgrade for the 'Canes.

The color is not too bad but I love the older darker ones. Not a real fan of lighter green. But that damn D and the starbuck shoulder logos just suck!!

Would have been better without the dorky "D" in the middle of the star. But I give them props for bringing color back. Black vs. white and Red vs. White in almost every game in the NHL was getting old.

Screw the Hurricanes ugly jerseys! Then ugly "rose" logo has never done it for me. And there's too many teams in the league who wear red and white. I can't believe this is the same franchise that once donned those green beauties I posted a picture of above.

I wouldn't dismantle that third line. If anything, I would do Brunner-helm-tatar, or Brunner-helm-nyquist I like miller, but he probably wont be re-signed We wont get a defenseman unless we trade at least 2 away

You will be hard pressed to find better production for his cap hit.
