I don't know why you or anyone else for that matter cares what someone else names their baby. Especially someone you have no personal affiliation with. It's a name that probably has meaning to them, is it out of the realm of possibility that kids don't make fun of him and just call him Lou?

No they're not. I remember a few years ago during the playoffs, tough guys were routinely given 10 minute misconducts late in games, even when they didn't do anything. Just to prevent any rough stuff from happening later. In other words, the league will rewrite the rule book to make sure there aren't any brawls.

We had a guy we faced all the time that had white skates.. he got a lot of "what, were they all out of hockey skates?"

My team wasn't allowed to wear them, but I still bought a pair.They were damn good looking skates.

Feds looked so damn cool though all swooshed out.Gloves, helmet, pants, stick, and those beautiful white bubble skates.

His name was Warren Young. He scored 40 goals for Pittsburgh playing with Mario Lemieux. Scored 22 goals for the Wings. He ended up back in Pittsburgh and never did anything after.

Nike started all the "athletic shoe manufacturer getting a piece of the hockey world" in the 90's by slapping the swoosh on Bauer equipment and getting players like Fedorov and Sundin to endorse it. I don't mind it but being old school I think hockey jerseys should be sponsored by hockey manufacturers (Koho, CCM, Bauer).

Ppl don't remember how teams used to hate playing against Franzen he was getting hacked and whacked all game for a reason. He really frustrated a lot of guys Size isn't all about being physical. It clears lanes and draws coverage boxes ppl out

I stopped watching after the first four goals, since they were all scored in and around the crease. So here are four, off the bat.

Hockey analytics is still in it's infancy. It's not really a thing at the minor leagues level from what I can tell. There isn't as much dedication to tracking... Though I am having conversations with another company that isn't directly affiliated with any one team. More and more NHL teams are coming around to seeing what they can get out of data, so I would imagine there's room for someone like me in a few places in the league right now. The only thing I ever heard relating to the Red Wings and analytics was Babcocks interest in it about a year ago. So I may be going up the wrong tree here, but it's my favourite tree.

I was just wondering, if it's twins, are they going to be known as Euro twins?
