What really strikes me is we seem to have gotten worse than we were last year. Granted Howard was playing a lot better last year which may have helped compensate, but the lack of progress from this team on whole is totally ******* embarrassing. They’re incredibly sloppy on so many levels; even the basic stuff like passing and clearing the zone when you have all day seem to be completely lost on this team. I’m officially getting drunk on whatever is cold, s*** or not.

Fun fact: Contrary to what some revisionist historians will tell you, Shanahan didn't turn the Leafs around in one season. He spent the first nine months on the job evaluating what he had. 2014-15 was a rough season and he stated publicly that he was basically going to nuke everything from orbit -- but also that fans were going to have to be patient. Downtown Nashville is pretty awesome, especially if you like live music. You leave the stadium and it literally drops you on a strip of like 20 music bars within a few yards. Game got out and we spent another 3 hours drinking and listening to some bands play last game we went to. A lot of places have $5 pints on weeknights. I wonder how Abdelkader is in net? Maybe he can suit up and give it a go, just to mix things up.
