On the gulf coast I can walk to the docks and buy fresh caught shrimp and other stuff for ridiculously cheap straight from the fishing boats. Probably best tasting I've ever had to. Most comes from off the coast of Texas. What're you doing wrong?

I live on an Atlantic Canadian island and the only "cheap" seafood I've seen comes from like China and Yemen.

Matt Savoie is an interesting one. He's ranked as high as #2 and as low as #7. Plays center and shoots right. Yzerman has never shied away from small forwards before. If he drops into our range I could see him being our choice. His older brother Carter Savoie was drafted by the Oilers and is playing at the U of Denver with Buium, Mazur, and Tuomisto. He's the leading scorer there and I believe just made the Canada WJC roster. Maybe we can send Leddy to Edmonton in exchange for Carter?

There's nothing like not rewarding players when they are doing well to help boost their confidence. Man Blash is good at handling our young talent.

As usual I don't know any of these guys...Don't care who the Wings select - as long as Yzerman/Verbeek/scouts nab 1 of the best players in the draft. As much as we need a center - I'd rather see the best guy available drafted regardless of his position.

Ever try Vitamin D3? Back when ER docs could write scripts for us hospital employees I'd get a script for Flonase (seasonal allergies May thru October - sinus and ear infections). Then Doc Flip gave me some advice on trying Vitamin D3 - that was nearly 10 years ago - for me I take 10,000 iu daily and never looked back...No more seasonal allergies and no more sinus/ear infections. Give it a go.

Isn’t this the perfect time to bring him up? He’s confident right now and you tell him there’s no pressure and that the plan is to only have him up for the games that Fabbri lose. Take it as an opportunity to get a taste. No risk of him losing that confidence when going back down is just according to plan.

This is the most mind boggling ironic part about Zadina that drives me nuts. When I first started pooping on Zadina it was because I thought he wasn't very good for x,y,z reasons, but - and as I said at the time - at least he can play somewhat good D and can shoot (if we can get someone to feed him). I gave him the benefit of the doubt on the shooting at the time because he was billed as a sniper, he didn't have a good center, and I guess I just let that cloud my vision. Boy did I F up. Apologies all around. This is not a sniper. His shooting is awful. And before the Zadina slappies jump down my throat... No, I don't expect guys like Seider to be great shooters. Yes, I do expect #6 overall snipers to be shooters. Yet - and funny enough - I'd probably put my money on Seider in a shooting contest between the two all day. That's the saddest part. The Dman who's one weakness is shooting shoots better than the forward who's one strength is shooting. That should tell you all you need to know about Zadina. Folks around here are gonna owe @mackel a lot of apologies in the near future.

Lopsided in Oilers favor imo. I feel those 3 players on expiring contracts with salary retention should net those 3 picks without taking back bad players with term. Giving up all 3 of those players Id be asking for Broberg/Holloway.
