That's interesting... it's a move that won't salvage this season but might prevent players from regressing or stunting the growth of young guys. Also we need a coach to tell Rasmussen to play like a man or sit in the press box. -

go back 10 years and imagine someone calling ME a level-headed neutral poster! I have become totally different that is for sure! (just don't bring up Franzen, Hudler, or Tippet and Hague! ) speaking of years, it's hard to believe I've been here for 21 of them and never had to change my user name! -

You can't waive Petry since he has a NMC, Trade him to a team of his choice in the east. -

This team SUCKS. I'm sorry, but this team really sucks. After 6 years with the SCAM, it should not SUCK this bad. 6 of 7 good players and the rest TRASH. I'm a lot more pessimistic about our future right now than I have been. I feel like the more we play our trash, the less chance our prospects have in developing chemistry and enough experience with our good players. And this, in turn, will mean we are always in a state of TRASH. I think Danielson would look real good right between Debrincat and Berggren, and I think Danielson would look real good right now between Larkin and Raymond. Our GM and Coach are just butt phecking this team all different ways. Its sucks. Larkin-Danielson-Raymond Berggren-Lombardi-Debrincat Veleno-Kasper-Mazur Tarasenko-Copp-Compher Johansson-Seider Edvinsson-ASP Wallinder-Holl Let the kids play already. This team is COMPLETE TRASH. -

I'd support both of them as mods, and i'd tell Matt the same if we can get him here. You know I was never a tough mod, and I always tried to be neutral and fair unless I was drunk and people were sending me into PMs that I didn't know were PMs. I'd loosen up on the crap talking, I don't care if you guys wanna call each other names within reason. I wouldn't be opposed to saying start a Politics topic in the Water Cooler on a trial basis and I just won't look at it unless there's a report. Idk if he'd go for giving it over to me, or what this place costs monthly to run which would likely fall on me also, which is fine as long as it's not astronomical. But I want to keep the main forums, the GDTs civil, and on topic because we would need to aim to get people to start returning, or people to sign up again. Vote Mabus 2024, less homework for everyone and better meals too. -

Take it easy West Coast. I don't want you to confuse our drafting with our FA signings and coaching choices. SY- good drafting and SY- crappy FA signings for the most part. GR has a good developmental coach that evaluates the kids there pretty honestly. The waves of kids coming will take the spots of everyone you're crapping on. Patience grasshopper. We need to jetison some folks at the TDL if possible, including Kane (ntc) and anyone that sucks on the defence and probably Talbot as well. -

Lots of talk about Dycknose getting fired if this game doesn't go our way. Personally, I think the SCAM needs to make the move after tonight regardless of what happens. The next coach has to be Quenville or a veteran coach that isn't afraid to sit the Sex Toys and play our best players. Kip is spot on in the other thread. We have 8-10 guys (Compher/Copp/Rasmussen/Veleno/Motte/Kane/Tarasenko/Butt Plug/Dildo/Ball Gag) bringing absolutely NOTHING to the table every game right now. If a player can't contribute in a meaningful way on a consistent basis, you have to ditch them. You can't keep pretending like it will all work out in the end. It won't. Will these 5 forwards have decent numbers toward the end of the year? Maybe. But you can't have guys like Tarasenko, Kane, and Debrincat scoring 45 points in 22 games against the worst teams in the league and then contribute nothing in all our losses. That's what I think we're going to see. We've opened up with a pretty strong schedule at the start of this year, so I'm not totally shocked that we've struggled. But at the same time, the players that should be leading this team to competitiveness just aren't. Compher is a total misfire by the SCAM, and I don't really care how good Copp is defensively - he doesn't score. We need guys to threaten the other team and create scoring. We're not getting that right now.
