I havent heard anyone defend or explain why taylor was yapping after the game to Caulcrick after Jehuu rushed over the Michigan defense for 2 touchdowns in the 2nd half. Why was that necessary? Michigan should have taken the high road, broke up the book of cliches and take the win like a classy program it should be. May I suggest stuff like "we never quit to the final gun" or "we just refused to lose". Instead, Michigan ran its mouth off and threw "little brother" comments and disrespected their opponent and acted like the Florida State of the North.

exactly. Counting down the days til we play Michigan in Ann Arbor next year. Michigan State has bullentin board material to use for next year. If I am Dantonio, I get a posterboard or bullentin with a "363 days til Michigan" countdown ticker on it.

Actully the clock is counting down to Purdue right now. Then next week it will say Penn State. Then the day after Penn State it will go to Michigan till next seasn begins when it will go back to counting down to each game.

It depends what was said and if there was any reason for it (say Caulcrick took a cheap shot at Taylor during the game or something). All we've heard is that Caulcrick claims Taylor came up to him after the game and swore at him a few times. There's two sides to everything. And Caulcrick is one of the last people who should be talking about a program not winning with class.

Sparty disrespected Michigan after the App State game. Between Dantonio's "Moment of Silence" comment and some of the guys saying "It feels like we won 2 games today" did you really think that Michigan was going to take it? They proved it on the field, there's not a player on MSU's team who knows what it feels like to beat Michigan, and they were still running their yaps after App State did something they haven't been able to do since 2001. Screw that. It'd be nice to take the high road, but Sparty deserves whatever they get. Karma's a *****.

Or after the big comeback in Ann Arbor? MSU may have some bulletin board material for next year but with the way their coach can't seem to STFU, I'm sure he'll be throwing plenty Michigan's way. You shouldn't need any extra motivation. It's Michigan/MSU.

That's me that said that. I have no barring on the university other than a fan of its atheltics. I have been thru this before to know that the spartans have a slip chance of making a bowl game because of their poor performance in the big ten.

The fact that he's throwing insults at a 22 year old is pretty pathetic.

Just the fact that they had a countdown clock counting down to the Michigan game shows who Big Brother is. I guarantee that thing ain't counting down to Purdue right now. Hoyer and Dantonio don't seem to know--or care--who they're playing this week. It's all about 362 baby!

Big shocker there. Dantonio is a Tressel disciple. Tressel was quoted as saying "you will be proud of our team in 310 days in Ann Arbor" and people rally around him and it works, but this quote by Dantonio is not. All about the building blocks baby.

and it's 355 days.

Pretty much like Drew "0-4" Stanton. That guy said way more stupid things then Mike Hart, and couldn't back it up. At least Hart can back his words up, and he does his talking after the game.

It's just amusing that Dantonio and a couple of the MSU players were making light of Michigan for losing to App State, and then they went out and lost to the team that lost to the I-AA team. I wonder if Caulcrick feels like they "lost two games on Saturday".

It must suck to have to live vicariously through another school for doing something that they themselves haven't been able to accomplish in over a half decade, despite it being their Super Bowl every year....

All losing to the team that lost to App State means is that Michigan beat a team it was supposed to beat.

What would Michigan fans rather do? Be in the record books as the only ranked team to lose to a 1-AA opponent or lose to a team that is supposed to beat them?

Soooo, anyone else watching the Western Michigan vs Central Michigan game. Its mid-second quarter with Western leading 7-0. But, Westerns best player got ejected near the end of the first for kicking a Central player.

As a side note, I watched Dantonio's presser and came away with two things.

1: He really looks like my neighbor from back home.

2: This man is exactly what the Spartan program needs. Not John L. slapping himself on national TV. After watching him, I'm about to see if I can walk on the football team and go kick some ass. Hell, I only played club level lacrosse in college, I still have 4 years of eligibility left

Now I remember why I'm glad I'm not a Spartan fan and why I have very little respect for the fanbase as a whole.

After "moment of silence" comment:
