On board 100%. I don't submit silly trade proposal ideas but we need a major shake up. Mikael Samuelsson can only carry our team so much.

Bobby Ryan would be my target. I know what they are asking for him and I would give it up, no problem. Guy could be solid here for the next 10 years. No brainer.

With all that cap space, we need to sign big names, not to make trades. Now that we're screwed, we may as well sign the plan B options.

You have to trade for a defensemen... We have extra forwards and no room for some of our young prospects. Get a D man we want to keep then we can sign some firepower up front.

Seriously, Semin for 1 yr 5.5 mill wouldn't hurt. Would allow us to see how he can perform in our system and if he sucks, then we let go of him. Would give him incentive to play if he does in fact like playing with Datsyuk.

I don't think it matters at this point. I don't think we will have a very competitive team next year. Missing out on both Parise and Suter hurts too much. To get lesser quality options now, we'll have to weaken out team through trades first. I'm not trying to be dramatic, but I don't think you can underestimate just how much it hurts the Wings to lose out on Suter in particular.

Throw everything we have at Phoenix to get Yandle, sign Semin and Doan to 1 year deals, overpay Weber next year.

Or trade for webers rights if at all possible. Worth a try anyway
