derblaueClaus 1,668 Report post Posted November 26, 2015 Boston had no business winning this. None. But nevertheless it was great game by the wings. If we keep playing like that we will make the playoffs, no doubt. 4 Hockeymom1960, krsmith17, NerveDamage and 1 other reacted to this

And Pulkkinen needs to get back on the 3rd line. 1 NerveDamage reacted to this

joesuffP 1,746 Report post Posted November 26, 2015 Boston is the highest scoring team in the league with their personnel... I think our coach can muster up a little more offence with this roster. Would help if our highest scorers weren't treated like depth guys... And why has Abby become an unmoveable staple of the first line? He has no fine touch and he's never going to beat a goalie unless the puck deflects off of him. At least try it out, Blash has moved better players than him down the lineup 3 NerveDamage, roboturner and Detroit \# 1 Fan reacted to this

At least try it out, Blash has moved better players than him down the lineup Yeah, I'm not sure I get the "every line needs a piano mover" when Tatar and Nyquist play together, as well as Richards and Pulkkinen. Abby hasn't been very good lately, he should drop down.
Yak19 303 Report post Posted November 26, 2015 (edited) Good teams finish those games that is why we were on the other end of a couple against Carolina and Toronto. Truth is this team is doing a bit better but still isn't very good. Edited November 26, 2015 by Yak19
PavelValerievichDatsyuk 1,935 Report post Posted November 26, 2015 Drew Miller. Not going to happen. What is the next suggestion. Scoring more goals isnt in the plans, obviously. That's ridiculous. The message was about scoring goals and somehow you link it to Miller?!! We have a lot of guys in the lineup who should be scoring. If you're counting on your 4th line to save the offence, you're doing something wrong. 1 Hockeymom1960 reacted to this

Echolalia 2,961 Report post Posted November 26, 2015 Helm's speed out there was making stuff happen. I would like to see him back in the top 9 again with offensively capable players who can take advantage of the ice he opens up,
derblaueClaus 1,668 Report post Posted November 26, 2015 (edited) Mrazek wasn't the sharpest tonight. The first goal was a deflection, so I don't blame him on that. But he has to save that tieing goal. It's however somewhat hard to blame the loss on the goalie with all those missed chances. joesuffP 1,746 Report post Posted November 26, 2015 Agreed. They were on in OT together as well. they don't work together. Blash needs to stop putting them together. And Pulkkinen needs to get back on the 3rd line. Tatar and Nyqvist have been unquestionably our go to guys offensively for two straight years and now suddenly we have acquired the luxury of playing them on our third line because our scoring depth is unbelievable? Blash is wrong on this one. If Tatar and Nyqvist were being set up by Dats and Z and getting more minutes we would have won this game. I agree with moving Helm up to the top 9. I've being saying this since he found his legs. He's the only reason that 4th line has been so great. I think Blash has blinders for the players he wants to see do well and not recognizing whose actually making things happen on the ice. This thing he has with Pulkinnen is 10 times more frustrating for me then Babs with Abby and Glendening 2 NerveDamage and PavelValerievichDatsyuk reacted to this
MDCard 48 Report post Posted November 26, 2015 If we play like this the rest of the season, we will make the playoffs. We played very well tonight. Just couldn't put the puck in the net when we needed too. We are improved since Dats, Richards and Green have been back. I would like to see AA up here and Miller or Andersson out. We need to be a bit more dangerous offensively. 1 roboturner reacted to this
joesuffP 1,746 Report post Posted November 26, 2015 (edited) When your best set up men don't play with a goal scorer<<<< Richards-Datsyuk-Tatar see! I just made that line infinitely better Larkin-Z-Nyqvist There! I did it again If the top six doesn't look somewhat like this for the next game then I will seriously question Blashill's judgement Edited November 26, 2015 by joesuffP 4 Detroit \# 1 Fan, roboturner, PavelValerievichDatsyuk and 1 other reacted to this

barabbas16 499 Report post Posted November 26, 2015 A well played game for the most part. An undeserved loss, I think. Boston really had no business being in this game. Mrazek needs to make the "key" save at the end there that everyone complains Howard doesn't make. But, moreso, they've got to get the puck into the net more than that. It was Gustavsson in net and you dominated possession - score more than 2 goals. 2 roboturner and krsmith17 reacted to this
rick zombo 3,739 Report post Posted November 26, 2015 I think some of you are over-analyzing this a bit. Wings owned this game, Monster was hot, and Mrazek was sub-par. Which rarely happens. This team just beat LA, St.Louis, and should have won tonight. Leave the lines alone for now. 4 TheXym, NerveDamage, krsmith17 and 1 other reacted to this
