refs really need to make the calls. seriously, they called the weakest penalty on abby. wild have been hooking and tripping all night with no calls. -

Goalies are better now than they've ever been in terms of schooling. That makes it even more obvious that the league needs to mandate goalies to wear less equipment. Protection is one thing, but this s*** we see nowadays is taking it too far. -

Pav is finally using his shot and Hank is passing better than he ever has. Logic states the pair is better with them both being shooters and passers rather than one or the other. Hank's game has evolved and so has Pav's. Balance between the two will be far more effective than the former scenario. -

1 pointI'm a sap I guess, but Bertuzzi must feel really great here in Detroit. He's spent the last few years being treated like trash or crapped on by fans, playing for mediocre teams and frustrated that his game seemed to be gone. Now, he's found a solid place on a great team where he's relied on and appreciated by fans and his coach, that's gotta feel good.
