Glad to see Detroit get the win, but also would be appropriate to take the time and congratulate the Coyotes on another good season, it's a shame that they don't know whether or not they'll continue to be able to turn it around in Phoenix. Regardless, they've improved their team and should be proud of the success they've had the last few years. Let's be gracious winners and give credit where it's due.

Nice to see that the Red Wings have douchey fans like any other team. It makes us oh, so much more human. Do you kids not understand the concept of "sportsmanship"? It means not kicking someone when they're down. Sure, you can have an opinion against the Yotes, but that's what the other threads on the board are for. This is about winning with respect and dignity, which our team commanded throughout the series, and we are now extending to our erstwhile adversaries. Embarrassing that some kids nowadays have been taught no manners, dignity, grace, or class.

We had so much fun with this during the Columbus games, I thought we'd do a playoff version. This time we're going to do it a little differently; you pledge whatever amount you like (per game, per series, whatever) - if the Wings win, you pony up. If the Wings lose, so does Children's Hospital. We will do this for every playoff series this post-season the Wings are involved in. I decided to pledge $20 for the series win, plus another $1 for every multi-goal game Franzen has. This will be my standard pledge for each series. Anyone else in?

If MVP still means Most VALUABLE Player, I just don't understand how Helm or anyone else is getting votes. Pavel Datsyuk was easily our MVP.

You obviously don't watch other games, Miller has 2 shutouts against one of the deepest teams in the NHL.. not sure if serious. Maybe if the defense wasn't giving odd man rushes here and there he would have been alot better. The only reason Buffalo is in that series is because of Miller.

The Yotes, Tippett and their fans can all SUCK IT. There's no crying in Hockey, Douchebag Doan.
