    this was a really tough loss to swallow. shoulda had this one. i thought stuart and kronwall were brutal. as fantastic as howard has been all season he cost us this game with his poor decisions behind the net. 3rd goal held on too long...penalty 4th goal instead of just passing to kronwall he fires it up high on the glass...goal once the nashville announcers started rhyming off our stats about 3 goals for and leading going into the third i knew we were done. just can't say s*** like that.

    Yeah, it was a bad bounce, but they still let up the last five minutes - being content to just flip the puck out of their zone, instead of skate it out, trying to create some offense. Those of us who have watched this kind of crap for years had that feeling in our stomachs half-way through the 3rd period. Yes, they played hard - for about 50 minutes.

    Agreed, but Rinne made some good saves to keep them in it and missed opportunities came back to bite the Wings and cost them. I think Conner was missed more than people expected.

    i cant believe you guys think its that easy to make that. when you think of its trajectory, if its off one or 2 degrees its going wide. youre talking about a 5 foot wide hole on a shot about 400ft away. on top of that you have to get a lucky bounce, like weber did, for it to keep that same line. i would bet anybody on here the couldnt do it more than once ever 20 shots.

    BAH hahahahahahahahahaha! Your love of Crosby is pathological. Hell divided by yes people all over the league would care if Dats retired due to injuries. He's one of the few players on the Wings no one really hates. Talk (nicely) to opposing team's fans at games and read the internet. Pavel is a marvel all over the league.     I think he plays again in the regular season, only it's in a helmet that makes him look like this... Ultimately, I would rather have him playing than have to put up with all of the media coverage of will he or won't he play.

    Hopefully. Except we really don't know what we have in Commodore. He hasn't looked great in his career recently. I want to see what he can give us and whether he has anything left.
