Just saw a post game with Stamkos on NHL network and some jackass in the crowd was wearing a #19 Yzerman Lightning Jersey... I don't care if he's their GM, that's all kinds of wrong...

this was a really tough loss to swallow. shoulda had this one. i thought stuart and kronwall were brutal. as fantastic as howard has been all season he cost us this game with his poor decisions behind the net. 3rd goal held on too long...penalty 4th goal instead of just passing to kronwall he fires it up high on the glass...goal once the nashville announcers started rhyming off our stats about 3 goals for and leading going into the third i knew we were done. just can't say s*** like that.

Yeah, it was a bad bounce, but they still let up the last five minutes - being content to just flip the puck out of their zone, instead of skate it out, trying to create some offense. Those of us who have watched this kind of crap for years had that feeling in our stomachs half-way through the 3rd period. Yes, they played hard - for about 50 minutes.

i don't like crosby, and i've never posted anything different. he's a whiner, a diver, and generally a s***head. i don't like that he talked trash about the wings even when he was getting embarrassed in the 08 finals, and i don't like that he was taking shots at hank's back 2 season ago because he was frustrated that z always shuts him down. he's also punched another man in the nuts from behind which is the behavior of a child. none of this changes the fact that he might be the best forward in the NHL. whining doesn't change that. you know who else whined more than most players? wayne ******* gretzky. mario ******* lemiuex. it doesn't make them anything less than two of the most incredible players the game has ever seen. i'm capable of looking at something objectively, and you are obviously not.

The media coverage of Crosby is overkill without a doubt, but it really doesn't bother me as much as his on ice conduct. I don't like the sneaky little cheap shots he throws and then complains when he gets hit back. I don't like the way he went after Z after Game 4 in the '08 Finals or the cheap shots during the '09 Finals. I think that's garbage. He's amazingly talented, you can't deny that, but he acts like a jerk on the ice.

To those who have said that you don't think the league will be worth watching if HWSNBN hangs 'em up, or is out an extended time to due to concussion.....what made you watch hockey BEFORE he started playing? What made the sport exciting to you, what made you want to follow it and obsess about it? Are those reasons going to be gone if he's not playing anymore? Is everything that made hockey what it is for you going to suddenly disappear? For f*ck's sake people, the guy is not Jesus Christ, no matter what some people here (or in the media) would have you believe.
